The Nitro Helical Worm Gear is a torque-sensitive mechanical Limited-Slip Differential that uses worm gears and spur gears to dispense and distinguish input power between two drive wheels or front and back axles. This is a completely separate design from the common beveled spider gear designs seen in most of the automotive industry.
Just like any LSD, the Nitro Helical Worm Gear functions as a standard or open differential under normal driving conditions, allowing one wheel to spin faster or slower as necessary. When a wheel experiences a loss of traction, the gear separation forces start to take effect and distributes the torque to the high-traction wheel by increasing the helical-shaped gears mesh force until wheel spin is reduced or entirely stopped. Once the vehicle exits the low traction condition, the differential resumes normal operation.
What's nice about the operation of a Nitro Helical Worm Gear LSD, is its characteristics; smooth, quiet and automatic. This LSD will engage without any driver awareness or require any action. It also has no wearable components and requires no maintenance, producing less time on the rack and more on the road.

*All Nitro Gear & Axle brand products are warrantied to be free of manufacturer defects for the specified period. Warranty requests must be made by the original purchaser and submitted by the dealer purchased from. Any parts sent for warranty consideration must be pre-approved and shipped prepaid freight to our facility with copy of RGA for our inspection & determination. We will not pay for labor, shipping cost, loss of revenue or perishable goods, commercial losses, costs of telephone calls, shipping or general inconvenience. This is our only warranty expressed or implied. Unauthorized warranty returns may be refused. Warranty generally covers MFG defects in material or workmanship. Abuse, overloading, improper lubrication, misuse, commercial or competition use voids warranty. Normal characteristics are not warrantable, such as Gear whine. Minor cosmetic flaws, dings, burrs from shipping or manufacturing, are not considered defect, it is installer responsibility to address these at time of install. Our pup loves the cronch cronch!

I bought our 15 month old Coton several Chuck-It toys on an Amazon deal. He is incredibly playful, mischievous, and ball/toy obsessed, especially for anything that makes noise. He can also be very destructive so I love how durable most of their products are - they’re among our longest lasting toys and worth every penny. We have yet to take them to the dog park, but they’re a perfect size for sharing in play time. And they are keeping him busy at home - that’s a good thing.
He loves investigating the crunchy-cronchy-crinkly sound which is a nice change from squeakers. It can withstand his destructive chewing well-being, gentle on his little teeth. I love that. Chuck-It is thinking outside the box with a variety of balls to keep dogs engaged! I do worry about the crinkle plastic inside because it is accessible because of the air holes and it feels a little sharp. So this will have to be an at home toy so we can monitor his play.

My dog loves it!

This crunch ball was a Christmas gift for my 65lbs fur baby. It’s now mid April and he still loves it. He loves running after it and chomping down on it. It is still in good shape despite all the chomping it’s gotta . I highly recommend. He goes back to this toy agin and again! Great buy.

Toughest ball we have found yet. Our doberman loves Chuckit! Balls especially the crunch one. He spreads all the balls and toys we have bought but these lasted the longest. The crunch and the glow in the dark are usually his pick but he has several different choices.
