Contemporary artist Alex Echo not only brings this tradition into the 21st century, but he also draws inspiration from his own incredible artistic career.

Alex's beautifully coloured and textured artworks have earned him prestigious collaborations such as with designer Sir Paul Smith, who commissioned him to design a fabric for his Spring/Summer 2011 collection. At the runway reveal of this collection, a nervous Alex was gifted a ceramic rabbit by a friend for good luck. Since that successful collection and his exciting career as an artist, Alex has revisited his rabbit in a range of emulsion and enamel sculptures reinterpreted through his sleek contemporary design.
