Fuck the Fitzroy Doom Scene roared into Melbourne's stoner rock scene 5 years ago, quickly becoming both fan and critic favorites.
With a sound and style inspired by some of the greatest, classic 60's/70's rock and psychedelic acts, FtFDS still finds a way to inject originality into their music.
The band previously released a debut album 'Facing the Ruin' in 2015, which gained lots of attention, and made the top 10 Age Music Awards as an independent artist.
Their second studio album ‘The Future looks Clear’, is mixed by producer/engineer Andrija Tokic in Nashville Tennessee.
FtFDS are reputed for their powerful and dynamic live shows that sweep you away in a sea of hypnotic riffs, dueling guitar harmonies, infectious cross-rhythms, and growling bass lines. Lead vocals are shared by all four band members, thus adding to the diversity in soundscapes within their original song structures.
FtFDS have previously supported artists such as Nick Oliveri (Queens of the Stone Age & Kyuss), Elder, Truck Fighters, & Brant Bjork, to name a few.
