Engineered for healthcare environments, the Tripp Lite by Eaton Hospital-Grade Surge Protector delivers robust, reliable protection for sensitive electronics in non-patient-care spaces. In clinics, laboratories, imaging support areas, and administrative zones, this surge protector serves as a centralized power-distribution hub that defends devices from damaging power surges, spikes, and transient disturbances. With six hospital-grade outlets and a long 10-foot cord, it offers flexible placement to keep essential equipment powered and organized. Built to meet hospital-grade standards, this unit is trusted for uptime and safety in demanding healthcare workflows, where every connection matters and downtime can impact patient care indirectly by slowing operations. Note: designed for non-patient-care areas, not intended for patient-care rooms.

Protecting equipment is more than just plugging in devices; it’s about safeguarding data integrity, extending the life of critical electronics, and maintaining uninterrupted administrative and support operations within healthcare facilities. The Tripp Lite hospital-grade surge protector is purpose-built to mitigate the risks posed by electrical disturbances produced by heavy equipment loads, HVAC cycles, lighting changes, and other electrical noise common in medical facilities. Its design reflects the priority healthcare providers place on reliability, ease of use, and safety, ensuring that computers, monitors, printers, diagnostic accessories, and charging stations operate within a safeguarded power environment. By combining hospital-grade outlets, stringent safety standards, and a practical cord length, this surge protector aligns with the needs of busy hospital and clinic workspaces while remaining compliant with safety guidelines for non-patient-care areas.

  • Six hospital-grade outlets: This surge protector offers six durable, hospital-grade outlets designed to withstand frequent plugging and unplugging, ensuring secure connections for workstations, printers, diagnostics accessories, and administrative devices. The layout accommodates multiple cables without crowding, simplifying cable management in crowded nurse stations, IT closets, and lab workbenches. The hospital-grade contacts provide a tight, secure fit that resists accidental disconnections during busy shifts, helping to reduce downtime and protect critical equipment from power-related issues.
  • 10-foot power cord for flexible placement: A long 10-foot (3.05 m) cord provides generous reach, allowing you to position the surge protector where it’s most convenient—across desks, carts, racks, and wall-mounted setups—without forcing you to relocate devices. The extended cord helps minimize chord clutter on busy work surfaces and can accommodate layouts in small clinics, imaging support rooms, and back-office suites where outlets may be differently spaced. This flexibility supports safer, cleaner power management in high-traffic healthcare environments.
  • 1050 joules of surge protection: With a substantial 1050 joules rating, this unit buffers against voltage spikes and transient disturbances that can compromise sensitive electronics. Protecting devices from spikes caused by equipment startups, power cycling, or switching transients helps prevent data corruption, unexpected reboots, and premature hardware failure. The energy absorption capacity provided by 1050 joules offers a reliable baseline for a broad range of devices commonly used in healthcare facilities, ensuring you have a dependable line of defense in non-patient-care spaces where multiple devices share the same power circuit.
  • UL 1363 hospital-grade listing: The surge protector carries UL 1363 certification, a standard that reflects battlefield-tested safety and performance requirements for hospital-grade equipment. This listing gives facility managers confidence that the device meets stringent durability, insulation, and protection criteria essential for medical environments. The UL 1363 designation also supports ongoing compliance with safety procedures, maintenance workflows, and procurement guidelines that prioritize trusted, industry-recognized equipment in hospitals and clinics.
  • Designed for non-patient-care areas: This model is intentionally specified for non-patient-care spaces, such as administrative offices, IT rooms, laboratories, and storage areas. By keeping this unit out of patient-care rooms, facilities can maintain proper safety protocols while still delivering reliable surge protection where it is appropriate. In practice, this means you can centralize protection for devices like workstations, imaging-support peripherals, and charging stations in controlled zones, reducing risk to equipment and supporting clean, safe, and compliant clinical environments.

How to Install Tripp Lite by Eaton Hospital-Grade Surge Protector

  • Choose a safe, ventilated location in a non-patient-care area with easy access to a grounded wall outlet. Ensure proper clearance around the unit to allow heat dissipation and easy access to the outlets.
  • Place the surge protector on a stable surface or mount if the design supports it, keeping cords organized and out of walkways to prevent trips and accidental pulls.
  • Plug the surge protector into a grounded AC outlet using the full 10-foot cord. Confirm that the outlet and circuit can handle the total load of connected devices without tripping the breaker.
  • Connect up to six devices with hospital-grade plugs into the six outlets. Distribute loads evenly across outlets and avoid overloading a single circuit or outlet group to maintain optimal protection and performance.
  • Regularly inspect for signs of wear, heat, or damage to the cord or housing. If damage is detected, discontinue use and replace the unit. Remember, this surge protector is intended for non-patient-care areas and should not be used in patient-care rooms.

Lasts long and helps a ton!
The bottle of shampoo has lasted me about two months (I shampoo everyday). I have scalp psoriasis in patches on my scalp and behind+on my ears and I will say this does help in breaking up the patches with scrubbing. I usually let it sit while I wash my body and then once I rinse my hair I will rub the patches behind my ears and they will just roll up and come off. It's really soothing and doesn't smell AT ALL. I don't see a complete clear up of my psoriasis but it helps in the process of keeping a clear scalp. I use a mometosone furoate cream or topical hydrocordisone on my patches when I have bad days and that plus this shampoo is as good as I've ever felt about my scalp. If you're looking for a cure, don't buy this because that's not what this is and you'll feel you've wasted your money. If you want something that will give results of ANY kind because you have run out of other options, spend the few extra dollars and try this. As a side note, this foams up great if you apply UNDER you hair instead of right on top. It's harder to spread if you put it directly to the top of your head. I've also found that it has lasted over 2 months (good for the amount you get) at about a quarter size each wash. I also only use the conditioner when I feel my hair is super dry or needs a boost as I have naturally oily hair (hence the wash every day) and have only used about half the bottle in the 2 months I've had it. I'll be sticking with this brand for now!

CONTAINS WHEAT!!!
I’m so disgusted and disappointed. I started having issues with build-up & dandruff again, so I ordered a new bottle, remembering how well this used to work for clarifying & healing my scalp. After using it for about 6 weeks the buildup was better, but I had all these swollen, raised areas all over my scalp that were extremely itchy. I figured it was seborrheic dermatitis taking a long time to clear up. Of course, I scrubbed those areas extra well (insert face-palm here). I have an old bottle of it at my parents’ house that I used over Christmas, and I was both flake and itch free. When I came home it started up again, and I noticed my hands were also breaking out again really severely as well. I now know to suspect my personal products. Naturally I went for the non-allergy friendly brands whose ingredients change on a whim first. Nothing. Finally grabbed the shampoo, thinking that couldn’t possibly be it— and to my shock and amazement, it IS. They don’t even try to hide it with different nomenclature. I’d take a picture to show you how badly this tears up my hands, but I literally just got them calmed back down with steroid cream so the visual effect isn’t as impressive. This makes me want to stop using all of their products, which I’ve depended upon rather heavily because of my allergies & sensitivities. I’ve been using various products from Puriya for YEARS because of it being allergy friendly. I’ve even recommended their products to our patients at my natural health practice. We even considered getting a wholesale account to carry them. Now I don’t feel like I can trust ANY of their products.

4A/4B Hair with Cradles Cap Testimonial
I've had cradles cap since I was a little girl. It's these big flakes of scalp that are itchy and embarrassing and just look terrible when out of control. Plus my hair is thick so it's hard to remove. It can be caused by a mild fungal infection or hormonal imbalance. I've only tried natural remedies because other places would either offer medications or expensive prices for their products and I didn't want that at all. I tried using tea tree oil, that only made it worse because the bacteria feeds on oil, leaving my scalp okay for the first day then tight the next. I tried Head & Shoulders, Dandruff and Sulfur Shampoos but they only lasted so long and dried out my hair terribly. I figured what could I lose trying this, and I'm elated that I purchased it. The ingredients in here are perfect for me, I can't remember a time when my scalp was so clear, clean, and itch-free. No more embarrassment when going out, no more flaky scalp/skin. Paired with my silicone scalp massager, washing my hair and scalp has become a breeze and I've only used it twice! The smell is nice and did I mention that its very moisturizing for my hair, which is hard to come by in shampoos. This product is all-natural and very well made, and for it's price you're getting a great deal! Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Amazing Cream! Like Magic for Me!
Somehow I triggered an eczema flare, and this time it hit my face. I had little bumps everywhere, my skin felt extremely dry and painful, and even under my eyebrows was sore. I’d only ever used eczema creams for my body, so I had nothing meant for my face. I searched for a facial option and this had great reviews and photos that made it look like it worked almost instantly. It arrived in one day, and I used it that night. The cream is very smooth, creamy, and incredibly soothing. By the next morning, my face was back to normal. It did sting slightly when I applied it, but only because my skin was so irritated, not because of any harsh ingredients. The relief was almost immediate. My skin felt soft, smooth, and calm again, and all the irritation cleared up like it was never there. It has a pleasant scent and is very moisturizing. Honestly, it felt like magic. This was a true lifesaver in the moment, definitely a face saver. It isn’t inexpensive but at the moment anything that worked would’ve been worth the price. I highly recommend it.

Love This Stuff!
I have skin allergies to anything with fragrance, so I get a lot of eczema flare ups. Not only does this not cause flare ups, but it helps soothe any irritation I have on my face. It’s also not too heavy and doesn’t leave a film feeling or cause breakouts like a lot of the other creams I’ve tried with colloidal oatmeal. Really love that they were able to work such a helpful, soothing ingredient into such a nice formula!
