Within approximately 10 minutes, it hardens into a durable, waterproof acrylic plastic that can be sanded, drilled, or filed.

Unlike fiberglass or epoxy, Plast-Aid is easy to handle. For cosmetic repairs on cracked acrylic spa shells, it can be pre-colored using artist acrylic paints. Plast-Aid will also adhere to damp PVC fittings.
