Rounding up divine renderings of songs by Aïsha Devi, Penelope Trappes (The Golden Filter), and nick nicely (heralded by luminaries of the US underground Ariel Pink and John Maus), the album culminates with Brian Eno's collaboration with Irish avant-folk band Fovea Hex. Also included is Abul's brand new rework of Becoming Animal's "The Sky Is Ever Falling" starring vocals from Cinder (This Mortal Coil, Cindytalk) and Massimo Pupillo on bass (Zu, Thurston Moore, Stephen O' Malley). Houndstooth have long been admirers of Abul Mogard's beautifully stately, romantic melancholia for the best part of this decade. Leading on from Abul Mogard's Above All Dreams album in 2018 (ELP 037LP), and following veiled live appearances across Europe, And We Are Passing Through Silently offers another tantalizing window onto one of modern synth music's rarest spirits. 52 with Mature Skin — Hydrating, Smoothing Eye Patches That Actually Make a Visible Difference

I’m 52, post-menopausal, with drier, more delicate skin around the eyes, and I’ve been using Abib products for years. It’s one of those brands I consistently come back to because the formulas are well-balanced and actually perform without irritating my skin. These patches fit right in with that experience.
The texture is one of the first things that stands out. They have a cushiony, jelly-like feel that holds its shape well and adheres comfortably to the skin. Once applied, they stay in place without sliding around, and there’s no stickiness or residue left behind when you remove them — which is not always the case with eye patches.
In terms of effectiveness, these go beyond just a temporary cooling effect. With consistent use, I notice my under-eye area looks smoother, more hydrated, and less tired overall. Gentle Retinal — No Irritation for Me

I was honestly nervous to try these because they contain retinal, and the under-eye area can be sensitive. But I had zero irritation. No burning, no redness, no peeling.
They feel cooling and soothing when applied, and the hydrogel texture stays in place without sliding around.
After consistent use, my under-eye area looks smoother and more refreshed. I’ve noticed subtle improvement in fine lines and overall brightness.
If you’re curious about trying retinal in a gentle way, this is a great entry point. Just make sure to use sunscreen during the day, as you would with any vitamin A product.

Such a pampering treat!

Ok I love these!!! I’ve started using them almost every morning! They just feel like a little pamper before I start my day. They definitely tighten up my under eye and decrease puffiness. I try to leave them on for 25 min or so. Maybe not quite as good as the Peter Roth but I feel like I can use them frequently due to the reasonable price point and still see some results. I save the Peter Roth for a couple times a month. Definitely repurchasing these.
