Power Driven Diesel has developed this cooler line replacement kit to resolve the common issue of leaking or damaged factory transmission cooler lines. Our kit includes all the necessary fittings and hose to completely replace the factory steel lines with new 1/2" ID cooler lines. The factory routing is maintained, starting at the transmission, then to the heat exchanger on the passenger side of the engine, then forward to the factory air-to-oil cooler in front of the radiator, and back to the transmission. Premium rubber-coated line clamps enable a clean and secure installation.
Additionally, the fittings without a hose are now available in kits for applications where cooler circuit components have been added, relocated, or deleted. The 68RFE with Mishimoto Cooler Transmission Cooler Line Replacement Kit 07-09 is a brand-new option and has been field-tested for reliability.
This transmission hose is proudly made in the USA and rated for 300°F and 300 psi, the perfect hose for replacement transmission cooler lines. We have logged 100k miles over the course of 5 years on this same hose without incident on a hot rod Cummins tow rig with a built transmission. It truly is the best hose we’ve ever found for transmission cooler line usage. Additionally, we have also made the line available by the foot for custom applications. We have found the most commonly available hose to fall short when it comes to transmission cooling lines. If you use whatever hose your local auto parts store has, chances are it will fail within a couple years!
