By: Frank Miller | Illustrator: Frank MillerThe crime noir masterpiece that has gripped audiences for decades is back in an oversized and slipcased hardcover that includes a portfolio, exclusive print, and a sketchbook of never-before-published development art.
There is no light in a place like Sin City—only misery, crime, and perversion. Amid the filth and degenerates, the hulking and unstable ex-con Marv has found an angel. Her name is Goldie—a goddess who has blessed this wretched low-life with one night of heaven. But good things never last—a few hours later, Goldie is dead—murdered at his side without a mark on her body. Who was she? And who wanted her dead? The cops are on their way—it smells like a frame job, and this time, they won’t let him live. Whoever killed Goldie . . . is going to pay.
Frank Miller returns to his comic opus with luxury editions of the graphic novel series, beginning with Volume 1 The Hard Goodbye. A combination of high-end materials, finishes, and iconic textures from the series make for an elegant package which evokes the grittiness of Sin City. Housed in a cloth-covered slipcase with foil stamping and printing is an oversized hardcover featuring a soft-touch matte finish with spot gloss and foil stamping. The hardcover includes an exclusive nine-page sketchbook of never-before-published development art selected by Frank. As well, this volume contains the pinup gallery created for the 2021 editions of Volume 1, featuring art from Joyce Chin, Amanda Conner, Klaus Janson, Paul Pope, Philip Tan, and Gerardo Zaffino. The seven-page cover and pinup gallery from previous editions is also included. Lastly, in the slipcase is a matching portfolio featuring a deluxe print of new artwork by Frank Miller.
As an added bonus, each volume’s slipcase has a different letter from the logo, placed on the front cover in such a way that alone it looks like a splash of red wrapping around the slipcase. But when all seven volumes are together it is clear that the grouping spells out “Sin City.”
Discerning fans and new readers can experience this unparalleled noir masterpiece in this, the most luxurious edition to date!

Felt realistic
Format: Paperback
I went into this without knowing anything about the author or any of their previous works. I read the summary thanks to twitter and was intrigued. I am so unbelievably happy I purchased this book and finished it in roughly 8 hours. It's beautiful. I can't describe it any other way. Wow. This is the first time I can truly say I fell in love with a book. The way it was written, cliches and all I expected to be sort of like "ugh they're gonna drag this ..." "ugh this trope again..." and every time I thought that I was left surprised at how not only did the author not go down a lot of overly used cliches but wrote these characters beautifully. The story flowed naturally, it made you either frustratingly angry or heartbreakingly sad about the events happening to the characters. Wow. This is a story I think I will forever love and so happy I read it.

Fantastic
Format: Kindle
I honestly have no words. Read this book in the course of five hours, I’m heartbroken, filled with joy, and a little bit angry. The book was fantastic, and I really wish I got to see more of their relationship, and I wish the ex girlfriend got what came for her because she was kind of a bitch.

Great book
Format: Kindle
I'm a little bitchy when it comes to writing, so throughth the book I was very very pleased when i realize the writing was so on point, really on point, its something lacking in most of the new authors.
I've been reading a lot of sapphic romance, I like the genre, so I could realize of that. I stop reading a book when something bothers me
The plot, I really loved the characters, they were so relatable, I wanted to hug Stella all the way, and Olive and her snarky comments made me giggle more than once.
It was an amazing book, handle mental issues, mourning, relationships, very very beautifully, so thank you to the author.
There are some tiny things tho, a few storylines not closed, like what happend with Olive's family, they sort things out? they did no? Olive just accepted that?, not very clear.
Maybe it is because English is not my first language, but sometimes I found that some things are explained in a way a little ... like tangled? Hector's orientation was not very clear until Olive told Derek i think, or whats the deal with Stellas mom...
like i said, tiny things, the story was great, the angsssst, i like it, the slowburn was really good too. I would recomend this all the way

We Feel the Same
Format: Kindle
Olive and Stella are such great, unique characters and so well developed and portrayed in this story. Their fear of commitment is realistic and their differences well defined. I loved every part of this tale and don't see how anybody else wouldn't feel the same.

Favorite book so far!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I’ve recently dived into sapphic novels and this is book 5 of my collection and i can confidently say this is my favorite i’ve read! I love how easy of a read it is! It got delivered at 3 and i finished it by 6, i was hooked. i would totally recommend this as a first time sapphic book! The characters are easy to understand and it features the “useless lesbians” chiche that i love so much in books. I laughed and cried and gasped while reading it. This book really hit home with the themes and characters, making its way into my heart as an unforgettable read.
