25 years after it's original release, Root's 1990-debut album "Zjevení" will once again be available on wax! Being persecuted and oppressed by the communist Czechoslovakian (Big Boss was once labeled as "The Satan-Agent from the West" by the authorities) government and real difficulties obtaining a proper studio and reasonable recording equipment - the most miserable conditions imaginable really - didn't stop Root from making one of the most evil and individualistic black metal creations ever, with rotten riffs stinking of the old and grey Eastern Block - in the most positive sense. It wouldn't be misguided to name them Bathory (or Hellhammer) from behind the Iron Curtain. "Zjevení" is a definite must for fans of early primitive black metal; an album portraying the region and era. The first 333 copies are available on Red/Black Marble vinyl.

Very good perspective on Ephesians
Format: Kindle
For many years much of Christianity has looked to the book of Romans as the best book to help us to understand the gospel. Here N.T. Wright walks us through the suggestion that perhaps Ephesians is a better communicator of the Gospel. This is a great book to challenge you and expand your perspective of Ephesians.

Great book, substandard printing
Format: Hardcover
Really enjoyed this book. Very well written and presented. The concepts presented are very thought provoking. My only complaint is that the book is cheaply printed and bound (hard-cover). For the price, I expected a much higher quality product. The first page was partially glued to the cover, the paper is rough in texture and feels cheap. The cover is not well bonded to the pages with obvious gaps when the book is fully opened.

Brilliant
Format: Kindle
I just love NT Wright. If you’ve read anything he’s written before then you know he’s big on believers being agents of new creation in this world. The phrase he repeats over and over in this book is “small working models of new creation.” Ephesians is about how God has rescued us in the Messiah and made us new humans so we can display what new creation looks like to a watching world. The church is God’s new temple - the place where heaven and earth meet and from where God’s glory spreads to bring renewal like the river in Ezekiel. Our vocation is to do good works that display God’s creativity and cause people to be amazed at His redeeming love. Our unity in diversity, our mutual submission, and our work in the world are all to have this one goal - displaying God’s glory.
