Select Healthcare the manufacturers of the hoists guarentee that all slings manufactured by them selves unless overwise stated, may be used with any hoist, wheteher mobile, ceiling track or fixed, with a standard two point spreader bar. Examples of the hoists include:

The slings must not be used with with hoists that rely on a buckle fixing mechanism. Example:

Select Health Care (UK) Ltd indemnify purchasers and users of their slings to the sum of £5,000,000 per incident should the slings fail in their use in such circumstances. This indemnity is valid only if the user of the sling(s)has followed the instructions that accompany each sling on purchase.
