It couldn't be simpler: A boy, tired with his work, decided to quit everything and form a band. In most cases, the band and the hopes didn't last long. With Kongas, French disco producer Marc Cerrone's first band, this was more complicated. In the early '70s, the young man made his own revolution. Musical director at Club Mediterrane, in charge of programming musicians in holiday resorts, he had a quiet job but he was bored to death. He decided to leave all this to focus on his only passion: make music himself and play drums, his instrument. One summer, he went playing in the streets of Saint-Tropez, in front of the hip bars of the time (le Sonequier or le Gorille) and impressed a local character: Eddie Barclay. Barclay got him to play a local club and Cerrone urged some musicians he had met a few weeks before to join him. The concert was a success and they spent the summer playing the mythical Papagayo before being signed by Barclay: Kongas were born. It was to be a quick journey but punctuated with nice moments. With tracks melting rock and Afrobeat, the band toured a lot in France and abroad (they even played Japan, which was very rare at the time). Fed up with the record company's requirements and it's desire to turn Kongas into a more pop affair, Cerrone left the band after two albums, Afro Rock (1974) and Africanism (1977). Yet, he would stick to the band's musicians and some of them are still playing with him today. He kept on working with Don Ray, who arranged most of his albums and whose cult album, revered by all disco lovers, he produced. In some way, Kongas was the matrix for the records to come. Pressed on double white vinyl.

Monkee-doodle loves that it has a crinkle sound when playing tug-of -war
Color: Crinkle Chicken (Yellow), Size: Large
Monkee-doodle likes this toy because it has a squeaker and it also has a crinkle noise maker inside. She loves playing with the toy and it’s easy to spot since it is bright yellow in color. It is suitable for dogs and doesn’t have any pieces that can come loose and harm your pet.

Love it.
Color: Bunny (Beige), Size: Large
Good quality and well worth the price. My dog loves it. The squeaky part is fun, and the crinkly, tear-resistant paper in the ears makes playtime even more exciting.

Favorite balls
Color: Multicolor, Size: 6 PACK
I never thought that my black lab mix could enjoy a ball more than the slightly larger silicon (sp) ones we have used for years. The sound has her ears up from the moment I pick one up. Please not, these are not indestructible. Throwing them away once they break open (for heavy chewers) is best.

Dog loves these
Color: Multicolor, Size: 6 PACK
Perfect balls for dogs who chew the squeaker out. These have the felt going over the plastic squeaker piece. Super bright colors and perfect size for medium and small dogs.

So far so good!
Color: Multicolor, Size: 24 PACK
So far so good! Our Belgian Malinois/Black Lab mix goes through other brands of squeaky tennis balls in a matter of days. Including the ones that cost 2.00 a piece. Thrilled to see that the first one is still intact after a couple of weeks of play. She must squeak them if they are in her mouth so they do get quite a workout. I would highly recommend them.
