The PR40 incorporates Heil's sage-like understanding of phasing plug placement, along with the use of a very large (1″), low mass diaphragm, and custom magnet metals housed in a specially designed microphone body.The PR40 diaphragm is shock mounted such that it is completely de-coupled from the anodized Champagne matte-finished steel body. In addition to dual mesh screens, each made with different diameter screen apertures, there is an internal breath blast filter on the diaphragm element itself, providing superb response for the human voice across the entire vocal range, without “popping” noises. In fact, the PR40 will provide a flawless, smooth, flat response from 28Hz all the way up to the 18kHz, making this a great microphone for everything from vocals, to bass drums and tom drums, to guitar and bass cabinet micing and more.
In short, the PR40 is known by professionals as the “thoroughbred workhorse” of professional sound recording and reinforcement. The PR40 is available in black, black with a gold grill, champagne, gold plate, or chrome plate. It ships with a mic clip and a leatherette carry bag. A windscreen is available to purchase separately.

Not Recommended!

Be aware that with major chewers it is not durable. My dog tour right through it and was eating pieces off of it. Thankfully we got the pieces back out of his mouth but definitely not for tough chewers. Also only lasted 2 days in decent condition and was only used on the occasion throughout the day.

Didn’t even last 3 hours in my house. Too rubbery and our frenchie mix was able to bite pieces off and was trying to eat them. Don’t recommend as a super chewer or consider it durable

Great product! Durable, chewable, awesomeness!

Very well made and durable. My dog hasn't left them alone since i opened them. Hes been at it for about 45 minutes straight now! Lol. He's an avid chewer. He will chew thru and fabric or cloth toys in less then a day. But these are what he really likes because they take time to chew apart. The shapes, are great, because one he props up with his paws and chews and it seems like it's easy to grip for him. Thru are hard so if you have hard floors it can get a bit noisy when he drops them. Over all this is a great product. Safe, chewable, long lasting, fun shape looks real to him (i think lol), Me and my dog Lucky are both happy with his new toys!
