Char, a guitarist who has had a profound influence on Japanese rock history and remains at the forefront of the scene today, has released his latest signature model, inspired by the iconic Mustang®. The concept behind the model's development was "A Mustang with Stratocaster® functionality." A newly developed synchronized tremolo bridge was developed to match the Mustang's thinner body, which is thinner than a Stratocaster. This unique model retains the Mustang's distinctive playability and ease of handling, while allowing for Stratocaster-style arm movements. Additionally, a 3-position toggle switch allows for more intuitive pickup operation. The control knob position has also been adjusted to allow volume control with a Stratocaster-like feel. The Made in Japan Char Signature Mustang is the embodiment of an idea that Char has been nurturing for many years, and is a model with unique yet reasonable specifications.
