East End Press is a print and design studio based in Glasgow, creating colourful, handmade paper products... entirely made from recycled paper. Everything is silk screen printed by hand, creating a luscious, rich look and feel. The brightness of colour and the slight misregistration of print is why they love screen-printing as a process, and what gives the products their unique aesthetic.

The business started in 2015, with everything printed, made, and packed in Glasgow. A few years later, and the garland production line had massively outgrown the little screen printing and laser cutting set up in Scotland. The natural place to look to for manufacturing was Jaipur, the home of print making, so in 2018 the designer and owner, Ellie Hodesdon, travelled to India in search of printmakers who could create their products.

She found a family who have now become great friends, and they still create everything that East End Press makes. Every manufacturer within the chain are fair-trade.
