AMI Home RO Membranes are constructed of tap water TFC (thin film composite) membrane material and fit standard residential home RO Housings for point of use systems. AMI Membranes are 100% Quality and Performance Tested. M-T1512A18 is certified to NSF/ANSI 58 for the reduction of Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Chromium (Hexavalent), Chromium (Trivalent), Copper, Turbidity, Fluoride, Lead, Radium 226/228, Selenium, and TDS. Since the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure, a carbon block filter should be used before this RO membrane element when filtering chlorinated water. Performance specifications based on 500 ppm tap water, 50 psi (0.35 MPa) applied pressure, 77°F (25°C) feed water temperature, feed water pH 7-8 and 15% recovery. Element permeate flow may vary ± 15%. *Salt Rejection shown is from internal test data. |
