The roof prism binoculars of the DÖRR PUMA 8x56 binoculars provide excellent optical quality in a modern housing.

Thanks to the high light transmission, the view remains clear and bright, even in poor light conditions and in twilight. The complex, 8x fully-multi-coated lenses ensure excellent sharpness right up to the edges.

The BAK-4 prisms with dielectric antireflective coating reproduce colours naturally and without reflections across the entire field of view. The Nitrogen gas filling prevents the inside from condensation. The twist-up eyecups make the Puma 8x56 binoculars also suitable for eyeglass wearers.

For longer observations, unscrew the screw cap below the centre wheel and mount the binoculars onto a tripod. For this we recommend our DÖRR metal binoculars-tripod adapter. (optional)

The pieces are not labeled at all, the paint on the threads makes it difficult to get a good tight fit between the pieces, and the way the pipes are screwed together there are two opposing corners that always bow in an make it look like it's going to fall in. It's also really difficult to make level. I really wanted to like this because it fit EXACTLY what I wanted to use it for, but I just can't trust it long term which is why I'm giving it 2 stars.

Not on the part itself which would have been more helpful to some extent. So just keep it all together with it's packaging and you'll have no problems. Very happy with purchase.
