The Spencer Boston Stretcher is intended for the recovery and transport of casualties for further medical treatment. Ideal for use in challenging and hard to reach rescue operations where it is necessary to protect casualties from side impacts.
With the combination of the low weight aluminium frame and the built-in Trendelenburg setting, this makes the Boston Recovery Basket Stretcher an effective bit of equipment to use, especially when it is not possible to intervene with conventional casualty recovery and transport equipment.
Ideal for casualty recovery in:
- Mountainous areas
- Remote areas
- Offshore recovery
- Mines and other shafts
The Boston basket stretcher can easily be hoisted with Spencer lifting systems and can be applied to fixed anchor points/rings that run around the length of the stretcher. During lifting, the stretcher will remain in a horizontal position with respect to the ground.
Lightweight aluminium frame weighing just 11kg with an impressive 360kg load capacity to fit most casualties.
