artist biography
Ivar Morsing was born in 1919 in Ängelholm, Sweden.

Morsing grew up in an artist environment - his father was noted Swedish artist Leopold Morsing (1887-1971). Morsing began his formal art education at the summer schools held by Swedish designer and artist Edvin Ollers. He studied decorative arts, design, life drawing, and illustration at Gösta and Irma Bergh's Technical School of Advertising between 1940-1941. He then studied at the painting school of Modernist painter Isaac Grünewald. Morsing travelled frequently with study including extending time spent in Denmark, France and Italy. Morsing visited Tunisia in 1950 and Paris in 1953, before embarking on a motorcycle tour of Portugal, Spain and Morocco in 1954. In the late 1960's he traveled to the United States and Central America.

Throughout his long career Morsing exhibited extensively. His debut exhibition was in 1946 at Elsa Lindström’s ‘Modern konst i hemmiljö’ (Modern art in the home) iin Stockholm. Select other exhibitions included again at Modern konst i hemmiljö in 1952, 1961 Konstnärshuset, 1967 Gallery Hedenius,  and 1971 Färg och Form (Colour and Form). He was the recipient of numerous scholarships including the Stockholm City Cultural Prize in 1972, National Artist's Scholarship in 1973-1974 and 1978, and the Kalmar Cultural Prize in 1976.

He produced many public art pieces including ones in Skövde Folkskolor, Wasabröd Filipstad, Swedish Embassies in Spain, China and Australia, Swedish Siemens Office in Stockholm, Transcodan AG Lensahn and Wasa AG Celle Germany, Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Atlanta and New York, USA.

Sleek and Classy Suit.
Size: 18 Years, Color: Black
This product is classy! I have a very picky son, and he lets me know how he likes to dress! And he likes this suit. :-) In the suit we got is a sleek black with a shiny lapels, and a matching vest and pants. And as a bonus it comes with a black bow tie and a red bow tie. There is no white shirt with this. The only downside to it that I can think of is that the waistband is not adjustable. I have a teen son that's almost 5'9 and he has a waste of 29 in. These pants are larger than that. We can wear a belt with it of course, but it's nice when they have adjusters on the inside as well. I will say oh that this is a nice thick fabric. It's not super heavyweight fabric, but it's not super light either. It's silky and creamy as a texture, and I'm truly impressed with it! I will be uploading a video and some photos in the next few days, but for now I just want to let you know that you can buy this with confidence. It looks great on!
