A vintage ring - which we have estimated to be 1920s-1940s in age - by virtue of the cultured pearls within it. It may be a little older, and these may be very early cultured pearls. Certainly they are absolutely beautiful: creamy with a fabulous, silky lustre which, were it not for their uniformity, you could be forgiven for thinking were natural. We have x-rayed them though, and they are definitely not. The five graduated half pearls - starting at 5.5mm wide for the centre pearl - are separated by small rose cut diamonds and in total 8 small diamonds adorn this ring. The highly ornate band is made from 18ct yellow gold and has a rubbed/partial fineness mark and maker's mark.
Overall this beautiful ring is in fine condition considering its age. There are a few blemishes on the pearls from wear - particularly the larger centre pearl - though you do need to look closely to see them. The ring comes presented in the original ring case shown in the photos.
