• What Transmission you are running (our systems do not control modern automatic transmissions)

CORE RETURN OPTION

As an option, you may send one working ECM back to us for a Core refund of $100 (5.7L and 6.4L) and $400 (6.2L Hellcat). Core must be from the same type of vehicle and engine displacement as you specified in your order. One core per order. If these instructions are not followed, your ECM will be returned back to you. Please place your name and order number INSIDE your core return package. 

Note:

1. By purchasing this service, you agree to only use the ECM for off-road or pre-1972 vehicles due to emission restrictions. 

2. DO NOT install these ECMs into late model (2005 and newer) Chrysler vehicles. It will reactivate security functions (SKIM) and lock the computer therefore preventing the engine from running. 

3. ALL SALES FINAL - All ECMS are tested for functionality (engine starts and stays running, gas pedal functionality, and OBD scans and reads) on our test engine stands and are known to work when shipped. These are used ECMs that are repurposed to run your engines in standalone. We cannot guarantee their life after it leaves our hands and into yours. We have not had any ECMs in our personal swaps malfunction after good initial operation before so usually an malfunction in these OEM ECMS are likely a result of bad wiring or mishandling by the customer. Please if you have a problem after the sale, contact us and we will do our best to provide you support on our ECMs. 

4. OUR SYSTEMS DO NOT CONTROL MODERN TRANSMISSIONS. To run a modern automatic transmission, you would need to buy a transmission controller from Sound German Automotive.
