How to Secure the Chrome Powder Properly:
1. Standard nail plate preparation.
2. Apply a base coat or gel and cure under a lamp for 120 seconds.
3. Apply a base color (the shade you want as the background for the chrome effect). This can be any color, even nude or a clear base coat. Cure under a lamp for 90 seconds.
4. Apply a no-wipe top coat from LUNAmoon and cure for 60 seconds. Alternatively, degrease the cured nail and rub in the chrome powder.
5. If rubbing the powder into the top coat, do so before it cools down using an applicator or fingertip. Remove excess powder with a soft brush. Cure for 30 seconds.
6. Lightly buff the edges or file them slightly.
7. Seal the edges with base coat using a thin brush. Cure for 30 seconds.
8. Apply top coat, ensuring the edges are sealed, and cure for 120 seconds.
