Borla Axle Back exhaust systems use engine-specific (not universal) mufflers that are designed, tested, and optimized specifically for a particular year/make/model vehicle. Improvements in sound and performance are accomplished by using a superior straight-through muffler design, mandrel-bent tubing, and the application of proper engine-matched tubing diameter. BORLA Axle-Back exhaust system 11953BC is designed to fit the 5.0L Mustang GT that is Not equipped with Active Valve Performance. It feautures dual black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips and the "S-Type" sound. Using BORLA Stainless Steel Polish p#21461 is Not recommend with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. It fits both the coupe and convertible models.
