年少時就熱中於教學，喜歡與兒童相關的工作。受到兩個年幼弟弟的啟發（他們都有學習落後的情況），她向來認為，讓孩子感到安心並且發揮自己的能力是極其重要的工作。她的職涯中一直在倡導這種賦權的理念，讓各種「條紋」的學生都能滿足個人的需求。目前，她持續宣揚自己的理念，並在加州聖塔莫尼卡擔任教職。
繪者
珍妮佛．澤福尹（Jennifer Zivoin）
長久熱愛藝術與說故事，自然而然就走上插畫家的職涯之路。她曾受過不同媒材與領域的訓練，從人物繪畫到虛擬實境皆有，並以最佳的成績取得印第安納大學榮譽藝術學士的學位。她曾擔任平面設計師、創意總監，最後在童書插畫領域中找到了歸屬。除了藝術創作，她也喜歡閱讀、烹飪和國標舞，目前與家人住在印第安納州。

Very spacious and beautiful

A lot of my books fit on here and there’s still more room left if I wanted to buy more books. It’s a simple looking bookshelf but it’s really pretty. It’s also sturdy the only reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 was because it comes with its own plastic screw anchors and they are crap. The shelves were wobbly when we installed them using the plastic screw anchors that came with the packaging. My dad set mine up and luckily he had a bunch of his own so he switched them out with better screw anchors. Once we made that switch it was perfect, there was no wobble or shaking at all. So that’s my only piece of advice. Besides for the screw anchors everything else is perfect
