Originally designed for use aboard commercial vessels, passage lights like this were fitted throughout ships to illuminate corridors, stairwells and working areas. Built to withstand vibration, salt air and constant use, the cast brass body, heavy glass lens and protective cage are far more substantial than their domestic equivalents.

The compact proportions make it particularly suited to hallways, boot rooms, bathrooms, reading corners or either side of a doorway. The polished brass finish develops character over time and works equally well in traditional and industrial interiors.

Fitted with its original E27 lamp holder and ready to accept a standard E27 bulb.
