The GP-HDWE-1436-PE Gator Drum Hardware Protechtor Bag is an efficient, handy and safe way to carry, store or transport your drum "stuff". Stands and mounts need to be protected as much as the actual drums themselves and for obvious reasons. After all, it's the stands that hold up the kit so why do they deserve less care than the drums? This soft bag is constructed of heavy-duty, water-resistant 600-Denier nylon. However, the bottom is a hard molded polyethylene designed to protect the bag when on the ground or stuffed into a car trunk. In addition, there are recessed plastic wheels for even easier transport when navigating stage door ramps, parking lots or studios.
The interior is fur-lined and features 10mm (about 1/2") of padding. Rugged #10 zippers with easy sliders provide rapid access to the contents. And, there are two very strong carry straps as well as one wide shoulder strap. The bag is also outfitted with a convenient zippered accessory pocket on the outside end that will hold a number of small items like set lists, a PDA, cell phone or IPod. At a reasonable price, this bag is a "must have" for anyone who wants to keep their drum accessories safe and secure from both the rigors of travel and the chaos of backstage.
