The Gibson ES-335 is one of the greatest guitar designs of all time. It is renowned for its exceptional versatility and has been used by countless players in a wide range of genres. Combining the best elements of solidbody and thinline hollowbody designs, it’s a highly resonant guitar that resists feedback much better than a full hollowbody due to its interior solid maple centerblock. Now, Epiphone, in cooperation with Gibson Custom, is proud to introduce the 1962 ES-335 Reissue, a guitar that was very much inspired by Gibson Custom’s ES-335 offerings but purposefully based on a model year that Gibson Custom does not currently reissue – 1962, a year when popular features like rounded cutaways, small block inlays, and a fast-playing, slim neck profile were all present on the Gibson ES-335. The Epiphone 1962 ES-335 Reissue has a semi-hollow 5-ply layered maple/poplar body with rounded cutaways and a solid maple centerblock for outstanding sustain and feedback resistance. The genuine one-piece mahogany neck has a thin 1960s SlimTaper™ C profile and is capped with a rosewood fretboard that is outfitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl small block inlays. The fretboard features rounded edges to give it a comfortable, played-in feel that invites you to explore it for hours at a time. Even the side dot position markers are the same size as on vintage 1962 ES-335 models and are placed in historically accurate locations. The Gibson-style “open book” headstock features the Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown inlaid in aged mother-of-pearl and is fitted with smooth-turning Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines with Double Ring Keystone-style buttons and a Graph Tech® nut. An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Gibson historic reissue aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece anchor the strings at the other end directly into the solid maple centerblock and further contribute to the 1962 ES-335’s excellent sustain. For electronics, a pair of USA-made Gibson Custombucker humbucker™ pickups are hand-wired to CTS® potentiometers and Black Beauty paper-in-oil capacitors and deliver authentic ES-335 tonal versatility, making the 1962 ES-335 Reissue a great choice for rock, blues, jazz, country, and more. The Sixties Cherry and Vintage Burst finishes have a vintage gloss that gives them a cool vintage vibe. A vintage-style Black hardshell case with a plush Goldenrod interior and Inspired by Gibson Custom exterior graphics is also included to help keep this beautiful 1962 ES-335 Reissue safe during storage and travel.

Super lightweight and smooth for gaming
Really enjoying this mouse so far. It feels super light in the hand and moves very smoothly while gaming. The clicks are responsive, and the wireless connection has been stable with no lag issues. Battery life also seems pretty good. The shape is comfortable even during longer sessions. The only thing I would improve is adding a little more grip texture on the sides, but overall it’s an excellent gaming mouse.

Really great mouse, but terrible skates.
I absolutely loves this mouse. I usually have stuck to only using razer mice in the past. However I made the switch to this one and its honestly so great. I only really have one complaint and the rest is amazing. Pros: Battery life is honestly amazing. Its really quiet because it no longer clicks, its just haptic feedback like the ps5 controller. You can adjust when it actually clicks which is super cool just like a Hall effect keyboard, because it's the same tech. Mouse just feels great and the included grips are nice, but they do take some getting used to as they aren't what I was expecting. However I have come to like them. Cons: It's vey expensive for a mouse, there's a lot of competition and a variety of mice esp way cheaper. The stock skates are absolutely terrible, that's why I changed them jade's and now its perfect. No complaints after that. However for a mouse this expensive, I was hoping for better skates. I also don't really like the scroll wheel, to be fair I do come from razer mice so that might be why I hate it. It also takes some getting used to as the mouse is front heavy because of the switches on the mouse, but I bet you can fix that if you have a powerplay to balance it out. However I have this mouse for 2 months now and I absolutely love it and I wouldn't switch for another. The only thing I would change if you were buying this mouse today is to also order skates so you can replace them. Would be a 5/5 if it weren't for the terrible skates. TL;DR: Great mouse if purchasing, buy skates as well.

Huge Upgrade!!!
After just a week of using this mouse, I can confidently say this is the best peripheral purchase I have ever made. I initially wasn't in the market for a new mouse, until my scroll wheel broke on my razer mouse. I decided to just pull the trigger on the X2 Superstrike instead of purchasing another razer mouse. The mouse material feel is excellent, and the wheel is great as well. I've also seen some reviews disliking the skates on the X2 Superstrike, however I personally found them to be great. The haptic feedback mouse click seemed a bit gimmicky before I actually used it. Right off the bat, the mouse click feels incredibly responsive and similar to that of any high quality mouse. You get enough feedback and it doesn't feel that much different from a regular mouse click. But, you also have optionality to adjust a ton of settings, like accuation, feedback strength, etc. For gaming, with the right settings, this genuinely feels amazing, and that's before the performance upgrade. As many other reviewers have noted, it noticeably decreases latency on top of all of this. Another huge perk with this mouse I found, was that it's almost dead silent as well. No more loud clicking! My only critique with the mouse are the side buttons and the size. The side buttons are the only part of the mouse that feel "cheap". Because I use the side buttons often in competitive games, I notice it a lot more than probably most people would. I also have large hands, and this is the smallest mouse I have used. I got used to it pretty quick, but the mouse is on the smaller side. Nonetheless, if you are looking to upgrade your mouse and have the money, I would 100% recommend. This feels as impactful as going from a 60hz monitor to a 144hz+.

Works so well I got a second one!
Size: One Size
I rarely write reviews but I came here specifically because this mouse is great! As someone who is technologically challenged I appreciate everything about it-- I bought one of these 5 years ago and use it heavily everyday, it still works like a dream which is why I bought a second one to use on a separate computer. Started using this new one and it was just as easy to set up as the first one, just plugged in the USB piece and was able to use it immediately, no further setup required. As a bonus, it already came with batteries like the last one did (by the way I never turn off my 5 year old mouse and the same batteries are still in it working great). Smooth operation, ergonomic, easy to use, and portable!
