This single-panel approach minimizes cable clutter and eliminates the need for multiple keyboards, mice, and monitors, helping you streamline maintenance tasks and accelerate provisioning across large deployments.
  • Integrated 17-inch LCD with keyboard and touchpad: The built-in display, full-size keyboard, and responsive touchpad are part of the same chassis, delivering an ergonomic, space-saving solution that mounts in a standard 1U rack. No external monitor is required, freeing up valuable desk and rack space while maintaining comfortable, time-saving control at the point of administration.
  • Flexible switching and robust management: Switch between sources using intuitive front-panel controls or hot-key commands, enabling rapid access to any connected host. The NetDirector console supports boot and reboot operations directly from the single console, simplifying remote management workflows and minimizing downtime during maintenance windows.

how to install Tripp Lite NetDirector 16-Port DisplayPort KVM Switch Console

  • Prepare your rack: Confirm availability of a standard 19-inch rack space and mount rails. Secure the NetDirector console in a 1U slot using the included rails and appropriate hardware, ensuring stable anchoring to prevent vibration or movement during operation.
  • Connect DisplayPort sources: For each of the sixteen servers or workstations, connect the DisplayPort output to the corresponding DP input on the KVM switch. Keep cable runs tidy and labeled to simplify future maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Attach console peripherals: Use the built-in keyboard and touchpad for direct control, and verify that the integrated 17-inch LCD displays the content from the selected host. Confirm that the console power is correctly connected and that any required power sources are active.
  • Power and test: Apply power to the NetDirector console and the connected hosts. Use the front-panel controls or hot-key commands to cycle through the sixteen sources. Verify that each host boots correctly and that the console displays the correct video, while the keyboard and mouse respond as expected.
  • Cable management and validation: Route cables neatly to maintain airflow and reduce strain on connectors. Perform a full test across all sources to confirm stable video, input response, and seamless switching in routine operational scenarios.

Chew proof except for stuffing
Color: Grey, Color: Grey
I left Sage with her new chew toy and was distracted by something in the other room. I came back not 5 minutes later, and this was what I saw! Stuffing all over the floor! And that was just the beginning. By the end of the day, I had cleaned up stuffing several times from separate sessions with the toy! The rest of the poor toy is holding together, except that it has lost a couple of squeakers. I don't know whether to recommend it or not. Sage is exceptionally, extraordinarily, extremely, immensely, and profoundly aggressive when she chews (on inanimate objects only -- no humans or other animals!).

Great hit with my dog
Color: Grey, Color: Grey
The gray rhino is a great hit with my dog. She's a medium size golden (53lbs) likes to chew and tug, but she is not not too aggressive with toys, and this has become her favorite toy. Over the last 2 weeks she's removed the top arms from the body and "killed" one of the squeakers, and the arms are now a separate tug toy. We could have put the arms back, but she figured out those come off, and she would take them out again. The armless rhino is still the one she carries around from room to room, plating tug and fetch with every day. The toy is very well stitched, the fabric is of good quality and there are no small pieces that come apart to be swallowed. It gets dirty from all the playing so I plan to throw it in the wash every month or so.

Great toy
Color: Grey
My girl loves this toy. She has a lot of toys but this is her favorite. She is a 26 lb mini golden and we have had it over a year. It is just now starting to show wear. Once it is completely worn out I will buy it again!
