The APC NetShelter Basic Rack PDU is a compact, high-density power distribution solution designed to keep modern data centers orderly while delivering dependable power to essential IT gear. Its Zero U vertical mounting design lets you maximize rack real estate, freeing valuable front-panel space for servers, switches, storage devices, and other critical equipment. With a 14.4 kW capacity at 208V and a diverse outlet mix—including 24 IEC 60320 C13, 4 IEC 60320 C19, and 2 NEMA L6-30R outlets—the PDU provides flexible, scalable power distribution for dense, multi-vendor environments. Engineered for reliability, ease of installation, and streamlined cable management, this unit is an efficient backbone for cohesive data center power architecture that reduces clutter and simplifies maintenance.

  • Space-saving Zero U design: Mounts vertically along the back of a standard 19" rack, freeing front-panel space for hot-swappable drives and cable management. This design minimizes footprint while maintaining easy access to outlets and power feeds. By removing the need for additional horizontal space, it supports higher device density and cleaner cable runs, making it ideal for compact rack deployments and tight data center corridors.
  • Flexible outlet configuration for diverse equipment: The PDU provides 24 IEC 60320 C13 outlets, 4 IEC 60320 C19 outlets, and 2 NEMA L6-30R outlets, enabling you to connect a wide range of IT devices—from blade servers and storage arrays to network gear and power-hungry switches. The mix supports varied current requirements, simplifies outlet planning, and helps balance loads across critical devices in a single, organized unit.
  • Robust power capacity for high-density deployments: With a total capability of 14.4 kW at 208V and a maximum input current of 50 A, this PDU handles multiple devices without frequent circuit trips. The high-density configuration reduces the number of PDUs needed in a single rack, streamlining power management, saving energy, and improving overall data-center efficiency and reliability.
  • Durable, easy-to-install corded solution: A 3-foot input cord provides flexible reach to a compatible 208V power source within typical data-center cabinets. The rugged design and plug-and-play compatibility simplify installation and reduce downtime during deployment or upgrades, while withstanding routine handling in busy server rooms.
  • Reliability, improved airflow, and cable discipline: Consolidating power distribution into a single Zero U unit reduces cable clutter and supports cleaner airflow behind equipment. This neat, organized layout enhances maintenance efficiency, simplifies troubleshooting, and contributes to consistent thermal performance across the rack, helping to extend equipment life and uptime.

How to install APC NetShelter Basic Rack PDU

Installing this PDU is straightforward when you follow proper electrical safety practices and comply with local codes. Use the steps below to guide a smooth deployment in a compatible APC NetShelter or other standard 19" rack system.

  • Plan the power distribution layout: Assess your IT load, identify critical devices, and map each outlet bank to a device or group of devices to ensure balanced loads across C13, C19, and L6-30R outlets.
  • Prepare the rack and workspace: Confirm the rack is clean, stable, and rated for the weight and mounting method. Ensure the rear space is accessible for the Zero U PDU and that there is adequate clearance for cable routing and future maintenance.
  • Power down and safety checks: Before wiring, power down affected equipment and verify the availability of a suitable 208V power source rated for up to 50 A, as specified for the PDU input. Use proper PPE and grounding practices as applicable to your facility.
  • Install the Zero U PDU: Insert the PDU into the rack and secure it using the Zero U vertical mounting mechanism per APC NetShelter installation guidelines. Align with the rack’s rails to ensure stable support and easy service access.
  • Connect the input power cord: Attach the 3 ft input cord to a suitable 208V power source that can deliver the required current. Ensure the connection is secure and that the cord is routed to minimize tension and avoid interference with airflow or other cables.
  • Distribute IT equipment to outlets: Connect servers, switches, storage devices, and other equipment to the appropriate C13, C19, and L6-30R outlets. Distribute loads evenly to prevent overloading any single bank and maintain efficient cooling.
  • Verify operation and labeling: Power on the rack and verify that each outlet is delivering power. Check for abnormal heat, unusual smells, or loose connections. Label outlets for easy future reference and maintain a simple power map for the team.
  • Document maintenance procedures: Keep a record of outlet assignments, load distribution, and any changes to the rack topology. This documentation supports future upgrades, audits, and fault isolation, reducing downtime and confusion during maintenance.

Tip: Always follow your organization’s electrical safety guidelines and refer to APC’s official installation guides for NetShelter products to ensure compatibility and optimal performance in your environment.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.

Madison Deserved Better
Format: Kindle
Madison was a beta...except she wasn't any longer. She was a late presenting Omega. And she was struggling. She was tall and thin, not tiny and curvy. She was opinionated. She was everything an Omega was not. After suffering through her first heat, her friends took her to Ardor, a club where Omegas came to safely find Alphas. She's not expecting much but then she connects with a sexy beta. And when she meets his Alphas, they set her body on fire. Maybe, she's found her no-strings-attached heat pack. Maybe, she's found something more. I could not connect with the characters in this book, so their story never resonated with me. And there was no love story; there was sex. Grey made it clear from the beginning that he had a true love and it was his beta boy, Rian. He went so far as to reassure Rian “Say the word, I’ll never touch her again. Lucas can put the babies in her. I only need you, beta boy”. So, Madison was there for babies, no emotions needed. Nice. No, thank you. I want the Omega to be the center of their world, not an incubator. Lucas and Rian weren't any better. After her heat, they let her leave. Not one of them made her feel valued. No one gave her a reason to stay or even offered a cuddle. And the sex didn't even come across as mind-blowing. Madison deserved better.
