Philip Smart was one of the great engineers to learn his trade as understudy to the legendary dub master himself, Osbourne King Tubby Ruddock. Alongside other luminaries such as Prince Jammy and Scientist, Smart would step in at the controls when the demand for King Tubby's studio dubs grew to such an extent that each single was expected to carry a version or dub on the flipside. Smart moved to the United States in the late '70s, and in 1981 he opened his successful HC&F Recording Studio in Freeport, Long Island, New York. It produced some sizeable Jamaican dancehall hits for his two record labels, Tan-Yah and Eclipse Records. The studio's creations have included tracks like Dirtsman's Hot This Year, Rikers Island, and, most notably, Shaggy's Oh Carolina, Big Up, and Angel. But it's the heady days of the early 1970s, up to 1976, that this release focuses on, when the version was king and Smart was at the controls mixing up some fine dubs with Jamaica's finest musicians The Aggrovators, working some of producer Bunny Striker Lee's rhythms in fine style.

This pan is not 9x13!! It’s sturdy and holds up when baking cakes, but the post size is not accurate. In my picture the pan on top is this one and the pan on bottom is a 9 x 13 pan

Sturdy & worth it
These plates are super sturdy and reliable! I’ve used them for parties and everyday meals, and they hold up really well—even with heavier or messy food.
They don’t get soggy or bend easily, which is a huge plus. Makes cleanup so much easier without worrying about spills.

perfect size
purchased for entertaining when I need convenience and quantity. good for larger gatherings- they look good, hold a lot of food without leaking. Strong enough to carry loaded with food without sagging, thick enough to cut meat and not cut through the plate. Can warm up food in microwave and not worry. After the party just toss in the garbage for easy clean up. I will continue to buy these plates.

Nice Platters for family Thanksgiving take out
The family used these to take some Thanksgiving food home. These paper platters are sturdy and hold food without bending or leaking. I like the size because it works well for bigger meals or when I don’t feel like washing dishes. They make serving and cleanup quick and simple.
