Behind their old stone house, Tao Hua and her father, Baba, discover good fortune: a peach tree. Baba prunes and tends to the tree. He calls it a blessing, like good shoes, hot rice, and books. And for a long time, the peach tree offers them fruit and hope for a better life. But time passes, and so do the seasons, and, one day, the tree does not blossom.
But life blossoms in a different way when Baba comes home and announces that he got a job in the Big City, where there are good schools and opportunities. And so the seasons pass, and, one day, when Baba is very old, he and his daughter return to their old home and to new peach trees--to old memories and new beginnings.
Baba’s Peach Tree is a story of the dreams we dream and the sacrifices we make as seen through the lens of a migrant family.

Hassle but they work great. I love the color, the thickness and quality. They do have some weight but in my opinion, I prefer that. Right now the four shelves are holding up my WiFi routers and remotes. Will buy again

These shelves are gorgeous in person. Yes, they're darker than the listing pics, but I actually prefer it. The grain is beautiful, they came well-packed, and mounting them was no trouble at all. Now I've got display space that feels both stylish and practical. Definitely worth it!

Easy to install, very tough!

Seriously, scoring these shelf stands for $30 feels like an absolute steal! Four chunky wood boards with metal T-brackets that actually feel substantial - way sturdier than those flimsy IKEA ones I used to have. My old cheapo stands warped after half a year, but these hold up like a champ - I've got like 15 heavy textbooks stacked on them right now.
Love the little details too: rounded edges so you won't scrape your hands, and rubber grip strips on the bottom. They look legit fancy in my living room as bookshelves and even class up my kitchen herb garden. My friend thought they were some high-end designer furniture! Honestly, the craftsmanship at this price puts my old $60 wooden shelves to shame. Already told my DIY group chat about these - trust me, you can't go wrong!
