This camera features remote pan, tilt, and zoom via IR remote, IP, or serial control, 12x optical and 16x digital zoom, and an AI algorithm that enables automatic subject tracking.
Simultaneous Outputs
Connect your PTC-285G to multiple devices in your workflow for flexibility. All the outputs are active at the same time, supporting simultaneous HDMI 2.0, IP, and 12G-SDI output up to UHD 4K 2160p60.
Quick-Access AI & Object Tracking
- Setting up AI tracking is available via various external controllers such as the included RMC-1 remote control and DVIP controllers (RMC-300A, PTC View Assist, etc.)
- In addition to camera controllers, you can also easily enable AI tracking on smart switchers, which include KMU-200, SHOWCAST 100, and others as well as complete solution systems like ZR-1 Smart Classroom.
- If you are capturing multiple people, you can designate a single person for AI tracking. Once set up on the camera, only the designated person will be tracked, avoiding interferences such as the desks, people crossing back and forth, and large objects.
Low Noise in Low Light
Advanced 3D noise reduction technology is also used to further reduce the noise while ensuring image sharpness.
Smart PTZ Speed Adaptation
- The integrated PID algorithm is able to detect the movement speed of the identified object and automatically adjust the camera's corresponding pan, tilt, and zoom speeds.
- This ensures that lens movements will be smooth, avoiding common camera lens movement problems like jerky movements or unpredicted halts.
Streaming and Network Support
The camera supports RTSP and RTMPS protocols, making it easy to stream directly to two different CDN platforms and Datavideo dvCloud. ONVIF Profile S compatibility lets you easily integrate the camera into a network video system.
Power over Ethernet
The PTC-285G supports PoE for easy installation without the need to find local power outlets or hire an electrician to install outlets wherever you want to mount your camera. Simply run a single Cat 6 cable to power your PTC-285.
12x Optical Zoom
- The camera features 12x optical zoom and has a 16x digital zoom.
- The PTC-285G provides a wide field of view of 80°, easily capturing your entire scene.
Tally Lights
Green and red lights tally to show the preview and program status for broadcast applications.
IP, NDI|HX3, and Serial Control
Control the camera from a variety of controllers that support multiple network protocols, including NDI|HX3, Pelco-D, Pelco-P, VISCA, VISCA over IP, and DVIP.
Multiple Remote Control Options
- The RMC-1 PTZ remote control can set and control up to four cameras and save presets.
- The PTZ View Assist camera control app is tailored for the Datavideo PTZ camera series. It can monitor the live streaming video from PTC-140, PTC-280, PTC-285, and PTC-300 series. The app can control up to four cameras simultaneously via DVIP; you can intuitively set up and recall the presets, and adjust white balance, focus, and iris.
Audio Input
Input audio to insert into your output via the mic/line-level 3.5mm stereo audio input.
Power and Mounting Options
The camera is powered by the included power adapter or via PoE, and it includes a ceiling mount bracket kit. You can also use it with the separately available WM-1 wall mount kit.

Great Addition!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I just started a powdered drink routine recently and was having a difficult time mixing it with water. I would consistently end up with small nuggets of mix making it unenjoyable to drink. I knew I needed a mixer and was glad I found this device when I did. It works perfectly! I like the fact that it comes with its own stand and included two mixing heads. It is solid, well-designed, and you can feel the quality when you pick it up. The variable speed of the mixer is perfect for ensuring that everything is blended well. I haven’t used it to “froth” anything yet, at least not on purpose, but I accidentally found out that it can do that well. This is a great addition to our kitchen and is very easy to wash after use. So far…no issues. Highly recommend for those of you looking for the right tool to make sure those protein mixes aren’t full of unmixed nuggets.

Low foam

Love this frother. It is great quality and the turn speed is amazing. My only issue is this. It comes w 2 wands and they are both singles. The single is great for stirring things up. It does not make a lot of froth and for some things it’s perfect but sometimes I like a lot of froth and I wish it either came w a single and a double or you could purchase a double separately to intermix. I don’t want to buy a whole other unit just for the double. I wrote to them bc the double frother they sell doesn’t look as good as this one but sometimes a girl needs a lot of foam and sometimes th stirring is perfect.

Powerful!

This thing is powerful and works great! I was hesitant about some of the negative reviews, but this is worth it so far. I use it every day and haven't charged it in the week that I've had it. Some people complained about turning it off.... It's not that hard. Just hold the button down for a second or two and it shuts off, no fuss. If you tap/press the button you'll cycle through the next speed and then off. I only use the first speed to make my protein shake and matcha. I feel like the high speed would just whip everything to pure foam! I'm hoping this lasts me a long time.
