Application Steps

Nail Preparation
Start with clean, dry nails. Gently push back your cuticles and wash your hands with a degreasing dish soap, like Dawn, to help remove oils from the nail surface. You can also wipe each nail with an alcohol prep pad before applying.

Make sure your nails are completely dry before starting.

Choose the Right Size
Choose a strip that fits your nail well, or go slightly smaller if you are between sizes. The wrap should sit on your nail only, not on your skin or cuticle area.

If needed, gently stretch the strip for a better fit. A slightly smaller fit is usually better than one that is too large, since overlap on the skin can lead to lifting.

Apply the Wrap
Peel off the clear protective layer, then gently lift the semi-cured gel strip from the sheet. Try to touch the adhesive as little as possible.

Place the strip on your nail and smooth it into position using the wooden stick provided or a rubber cuticle pusher. Press firmly around the edges and near the cuticle area. Rolling the edges with the side of the stick can help prevent lifting and snagging.

Trim and File the Excess
Before curing, trim the extra wrap from the tip of your nail using nail clippers or curved cuticle scissors.

Use a nail file to remove any remaining excess by filing downward from the top edge of your nail. Avoid filing back and forth, as this can pull at the wrap.

Cure Under a UV LED Lamp
Once the wrap is applied and shaped to your nail, cure it under a UV LED lamp for 60-120 seconds.

This step hardens the semi-cured gel and gives your manicure a smooth, glossy finish.

Apply a Gel Top Coat Optional
For extra shine and added protection, you can apply a clear UV gel top coat after curing your wraps. Follow the instructions for your specific gel top coat, including the recommended cure time. This can help protect your manicure from everyday wear and give it an even glossier finish.

Store Unused Strips
Place any unused strips back into their original dark packaging right away. Semi-cured gel wraps can harden when exposed to light, especially UV light, so keeping them sealed and stored in a dark place will help keep them flexible for your next manicure.

Removal
To remove your wraps, gently lift one edge to break the seal. Apply nail polish remover or warm coconut oil and use a rubber cuticle pusher to slowly work the product between the wrap and your natural nail.

Do not peel or force the wraps off, as this can damage your natural nails. Take your time and add more remover or oil as needed.

Age Recommendation
Semi-Cured Gel wraps are best suited for adults. We don’t recommend them for children or younger teens, since gels require UV light to cure and can be trickier to remove.

For kids and teens, we suggest our Standard Collection or Kids Collection. They are fun, easy to apply, and do not require a lamp.
