8 mm punch or 67 mm needle — when to use which? The punch creates a clean opening in the cap before lighting — concentrated draw, intact wrapper. The needle is used after lighting when the draw remains too tight — it decompresses the tobacco lengthwise by rotation without cutting. Both tools cover two distinct situations.
