Saramonic Blink500 B2+: Next-Level Wireless Audio for Creators

For content creators, one thing is clear: visuals draw the eye, but audio holds the attention. In vlogging, interviews, live streaming, and mobile journalism, a reliable wireless microphone system is indispensable. The Saramonic Blink500 B2+ is a flexible 4-in-1 wireless mic system designed to simplify high-quality audio capture across cameras, smartphones, and computers. With dual transmitters, intelligent noise control, broad compatibility, and long battery life, it delivers professional sound without the complexity.

Product Overview & Key Highlights

The Blink500 B2+ is a two-person wireless clip-on microphone system operating on the 2.4 GHz band. It includes two transmitters and one multi-output receiver, making it ideal for interviews, podcasts, on-the-go reporting, and creator collaborations.

  • Wireless range up to 150 m (line-of-sight).
  • Two transmitters (clip-on mics) plus a compact receiver.
  • Selectable noise reduction modes and low-cut filters.
  • Multiple outputs: 3.5 mm TRS/TRRS, USB-C, and Lightning (via swappable modules).
  • Up to 20 hours TX runtime and 16 hours RX runtime; charging case extends use.
  • OLED display, real-time headphone monitoring, mono/stereo/safety-track output.

Design, Build & Usability

Transmitters: Compact and Creator-Friendly

Each transmitter is lightweight, with an integrated omnidirectional microphone and a discreet clip or magnetic mount for easy placement on clothing. Included furry windshields help tame outdoor wind noise, and a quick-access button lets you toggle noise reduction levels on the fly.

Receiver: Clear Monitoring & Flexible Outputs

The receiver features an OLED screen for at-a-glance status of battery, levels, and link quality. It connects to cameras through 3.5 mm, and to modern smartphones or tablets via digital interfaces. A dedicated headphone jack enables real-time monitoring, while output modes—mono, stereo, and safety track—provide routing flexibility.

Charging Case: Power and Protection

The included charging case houses a built-in battery to recharge the system between takes. Removing the units powers them on automatically; dropping them back in the case powers them down—streamlining field workflows and preventing accidental battery drain.

Audio Performance & Real-World Use

Noise Reduction & Low-Cut Control

Two levels of noise reduction help adapt to changing environments. Use a lighter setting to preserve ambience in quieter rooms, or a stronger setting to push back noisy surroundings. Low-cut filters at 75 Hz and 150 Hz reduce rumble from HVAC, traffic, or handling.

Range and Link Stability

With a maximum line-of-sight range up to 150 m, the system covers typical creator scenarios—run-and-gun interviews, weddings, events, or street reporting. As with any 2.4 GHz system, obstacles or congested RF spaces can reduce effective range, so monitor levels and maintain reasonable sight lines when possible.

Battery Endurance

Expect up to 20 hours from each transmitter and up to 16 hours from the receiver under normal conditions. The charging case extends total time significantly, letting you top up between segments without hunting for wall power.

Sound Character

The omnidirectional capsules capture clear, natural dialog with consistent level even as speakers turn their heads. In very loud or chaotic environments, combine the low-cut and a stronger noise reduction setting; for quieter spaces, lighter filtering preserves warmth and room tone.

Use Cases: Where Blink500 B2+ Excels

On-the-Go Interviews & Vlogging

The dual-mic kit enables two-person interviews without swapping gear. Plug-and-play connectivity makes it easy to move between phone, camera, and laptop.

Live Streaming & Virtual Events

Digital outputs simplify connection to computers and mobile devices for webinars, remote panels, and livestreams. Headphone monitoring helps avoid surprises.

YouTube, Podcasts & Tutorials

Mono, stereo, and safety-track options give editors flexibility in post. The compact form factor keeps setups tidy for desk-based tutorials or studio sessions.

Event & Field Reporting

Long battery life and reliable range suit weddings, conferences, trade shows, and outdoor reporting where mobility and quick setup matter.

Buying Guide & Considerations

  • Authenticity & Warranty: Purchase from authorized channels to ensure genuine hardware and proper service support.
  • Accessories: Verify inclusion of windshields, cables, mounts, and interface modules you’ll need for your primary devices.
  • RF Environment: Plan shoots to minimize interference; monitor levels and keep reasonable line-of-sight when practical.
  • Workflow Needs: Choose output mode (mono, stereo, safety) to match your editing and backup preferences.

Strengths

  • Two-person kit with simple, fast setup.
  • Versatile analog and digital outputs across camera and mobile ecosystems.
  • Long battery life plus charging case for extended shoots.
  • Noise reduction and low-cut filters tame common problem noises.
  • Safety-track option provides a backup at lower gain.

Tradeoffs

  • No internal recording on transmitters—monitor your link and levels.
  • In crowded RF spaces, practical range can shrink—plan positioning accordingly.
  • Strong noise reduction may slightly reduce ambience in some scenarios—use “light” mode when you want more room tone.

Good Sport Watch
Color: Blue/Black
This is a good sport watch. I wear these to work in all sorts of conditions...and they take a beating. I have to get the unisex watches/bands as I have thick wrists for a woman and women's watchbands generally don't fit me. I can't wear the metal watch bands because when I flex my wrist they break. I can't wear the leather bands because when I sweat the band just deteriorates and falls apart. These woven bands are just perfect. I also like that it is velcro. That way you can adjust it perfectly to your wrist. I have worn these watches for nearly 15 years. It has two time functions - so that you can have regular time and maybe the time in another country. It has a split lap stop watch so that you can time each lap as well as your full run. Time, date, alarm, and hour beep if you so desire. It also has a back light which is really handy to tell time in the dark. Only problem with that is at about the year mark, the battery is so low that the light will come on, but the numbers disappear. But, well, it is what it is. Some reviewers have complained that the band is rather small fitting around the wrist. I am a woman and I bought a womans Timex once. The band was EXTREMELY small and barely fit me at all. It would come off a lot of the time because there was barely any velcro to wrap around. This watch is probably more of a unisex watch. Not a woman's per se, but not a big man's watch either. It is about in the middle. I have a 7.5" wrist and that is about as large of a wrist that this watch will fit. The women's watch that I had previously had would only fit a 7" wrist.

Great no frills watch, love it.
Color: Blue/Black
This watch is a really nice and is perfect for me. It tells the time (duh!), the date and has a stopwatch feature I never use. Mostly I like that it is a no frills product, but it does its job. This is great for people that actually want something that tells the time and not some fancy gold bracelet to impress the ladies. Although I spend most of my time in front of a computer, I imagine this piece would be great for someone with an active lifestyle (biking, running, etc.). The watch itself is mostly plastic and watch-proof and the band is a fabric velcro. For a while I had the older model with a rubber strap and I like this new model much better. The strap is comfortable and easy to take on and off. I wish the strap was a little bigger though, it might be too small for someone with really fat arms. It does have an indiglo feature although I had the older model and the indiglo died after like 6 months. Hopefully this one will last. What can I say, its a watch. If you are looking for something simple with a classic design, look no further.

Everything I expected.
Color: Black/Red
Not the watch I would want as an adult but fits my son perfectly. It’s durable, red and makes him happy. It should last him until he is old enough to get a job and make his own style and life choices.

Timex now poor quality
Color: Blue/Black
These watches used to last me years. The past two of these have died in under 6 months. Worthless junk. Will avoid Timex from now on. A single drop of water and the button sends the watch into black screen and reset.

Good basic digital watch for women
Color: Black/Gray Stripe, Color: Black/Gray Stripe
Okay, so it's a great watch for women with small to medium wrists. Here's my pros and cons list: Pros: - Super easy to set. The package insert does NOT include instructions. This is my first Timex Expedition watch, so I had no experience going in. All you do is press Set and you use the Start and Stop buttons to move up and down, respectively, through the settings. Easy enough! - I love the simplicity of the watch. It's simple and easy to read. - It has the day of the week AND the month AND the date. I wanted to make sure any watch I get has these features. - The watch band seems high quality. It is fabric/nylon, so it should hold up for several years (we'll see I guess). - The Indiglo is pretty and works great in the dark! Cons: - I have to tighten the band as tight as possible in order to prevent the watch from wobbling around my wrist. It may be because my wrist is small and the watch itself is a bit heavy in comparison. I AM new to wearing a watch, so maybe it's just something I have to get used to. - The display is perfect, but only when looking at it straight on (when facing you directly). If you were to glance over at your watch while you're typing on your computer, you can't see the time. It's too blurry. So the viewing angles are terrible. You can only see the time if you look directly at it. Again, this might be an issue with all digital watches, but I sort of expected more in today's technological world. This is probably my biggest con and biggest disappointment. - The band holder is also nylon, so I had some trouble getting the extra band into the band holder. Now that I think more about it, I'm not sure what a better alternative would be for a nylon band... maybe if they glued the band holder on to the band, it wouldn't move around so much when trying to insert the band into the holder. Once you're inserted it, it seems to stay in place, though. So that's good. But I can see it loosening up and not working well in the future. I've only had this watch since yesterday, so I haven't been able to test its waterproofness yet. I will update this review if I am unhappy with the waterproofness. Overall, it's exactly what I was looking for: a basic digital watch that shows the day and date, with a band that is small enough to fit my female wrist. However, I would have liked it better if the price was $10-15 less than what I paid for it. UPDATE: I've since moved on to a few other watches since this one. I have concluded that I do NOT like having a cloth/nylon watch band, and I prefer the rubber/plastic bands now. The nylon band takes way too long to dry after a shower, whereas the plastic bands don't need ANY drying time. There are a lot of good plastic banded watches out there, and I've tried a few no-name brands on Amazon and have been happier with them than I was with this Timex. They are also not as heavy and floppy on my wrist.
