The Platinum Tools 2" Standard High-Performance (HPH) J-Hook is engineered for serious cable management in telecom, data centers, networking closets, and professional AV installations. Built with a robust steel J-Hook backbone over-molded in polypropylene, these hooks deliver a smooth, effortless cable slide while providing dependable support for large bundles. The design blends strength with protection, ensuring cables are held securely without abrasion or damage, even in demanding environments. With a vivid blue finish for quick visual identification, these J-Hooks are designed to simplify routing, improve organization, and accelerate installation times on busy job sites. The packaging, at 25 pieces per box, makes it simple to stock crews for ongoing projects and large-scale deployments while keeping inventory tidy and ready for rapid deployment.

  • 2" wide base for enhanced stability and load distribution. The broad base reduces point load on individual cables, helping to prevent snags, bending, or sagging when routing dense cable bundles through racks, conduits, or cable trays. This wide base design is especially valuable for high-density data center runs, where maintaining neat, supported pathways is critical to cooling efficiency and airflow management. The result is a cleaner install that remains orderly as cable counts scale up over time.
  • Steel J-Hook core with polypropylene over-mold for durability and smooth cable entry. The steel backbone provides the rigidity needed to hold heavy bundles in place, while the polypropylene over-mold protects cables from edge wear and imparts a comfortable, jitter-free entry path. This combination minimizes cable damage during installation and throughout the life of the run, helping to preserve signal integrity and reduce maintenance visits in mission-critical environments.
  • Snap-Lock retainer design for quick, reusable securing of cables. The innovative retainer enables fast installation and confident retention without the need for zip ties or tape. When cables need to be re-routed or reorganized, the Snap-Lock can be released and re-secured, offering flexibility in dynamic installations such as network updates, rack reconfigurations, or IT closet changes. This reduces waste and lowers labor costs over the life of the system.
  • Blue color for immediate identification and organization across complex systems. Color-coding is a practical advantage in large installations where multiple cable types, paths, or zones must be distinguished at a glance. The blue finish provides high visibility, aiding in quick audits, inspections, and future upgrades while helping technicians avoid accidental disconnections or misrouting during maintenance.
  • Box packaging of 25 pieces with size 32 specification. The 25-per-box configuration supports consistent stocking on job sites, reducing downtime caused by missing components. The 32 size designation indicates compatibility with standard rack and conduit configurations, enabling straightforward integration into existing infrastructure. This packaging approach also simplifies inventory planning for electrical, IT, and A/V projects that require reliable, scalable cable management solutions.

How to install Platinum Tools 2" Standard HPH J-Hook

  • Plan your cable pathways before mounting. Evaluate bundle sizes, anticipated movement, and environmental factors such as temperature, vibration, and proximity to power lines. A well-planned route minimizes rework and ensures the integrity of cables over time.
  • Position the J-Hook along the intended path and prepare mounting points. The 2" base provides broad contact with the support surface, helping to distribute loads evenly. Use appropriate fasteners for the mounting surface (racks, studs, or cable trays) and ensure they meet local electrical and building codes.
  • Open or engage the Snap-Lock retainer and place cables into the J-Hook’s interior channel. The polypropylene over-mold creates a smooth entry for cables, reducing friction and preventing damage as large bundles are slid into place. Arrange cables neatly to avoid tangling and ensure each cable maintains a gentle bend radius.
  • Secure the bundle with the Snap-Lock retainer. Engage the locking mechanism so cables stay in place under typical operating loads and minor vibrations. The retainer is designed to be reused, allowing you to reposition or re-route cables without discarding hardware or creating waste.
  • Check clearances and verify that cables are not kinked, pinched, or stretched. Confirm that the installation maintains adequate airflow, ventilation, and accessibility for future service. If re-routing is required, release the Snap-Lock, adjust the cables, and re-engage the retainer as needed.
  • Perform a final inspection across all installed J-Hooks. Look for consistent spacing, alignment with the rack or tray, and a uniform appearance along the entire run. A clean, well-organized installation not only looks professional but also reduces future maintenance time and improves system reliability.

A Personally Challengiing Read
Don’t expect Rosaria Butterfield to coddle sin. She acknowledges the Biblical truth that we are at war with it. It is evil. Lies are rampant with it. The Bible’s solution is to kill it, nailing it to the cross of Christ. If we don’t, it will do great and lasting harm. That is the background premise of this book. This book is for believers in Jesus Christ, especially those who identify as Evangelicals. Others may benefit by reading its pages, but I suspect that most of them will not be able to persevere through it because today’s culture is just not willing to sit through this much proclamation of Bible truth. They will react, not respond. Believers will be convicted, encouraged, and edified. Butterfield’s style is plain, but today’s culture requires her to address and to use terminology that may be challenging to many readers. It was for me. Add a level of abstraction for some challenging spiritual truths. Add the fact that she is an intellectual dealing with cultural and theological subjects. It is mostly college level reading, except for the story parts. Butterfield has credentials. A professor of English at Syracuse University, she was ten years in the Lesbian community with a mate. She was found by Christ, began to grow in Him, was discipled by faithful church women, met a wonderful man, was married to him--a Presbyterian pastor—became a mother, and began to minister to college students from a Christian perspective. She tells some of her story and the stories of others in the pages of the book. It is fascinating reading. The book is organized around the five lies that Butterfield has chosen to expose, with two to four chapters dealing with each. She acknowledges that there are others that could be exposed as well. The last one, about our culture's attitude toward modesty, was the most surprising to me. The book also has a Foreword by Kevin DeYoung, a Preface, and an Introduction. Don’t skip them. The Foreword is nothing short of a good sermon that should be shared in every church in America. In the Preface Butterfield spills the beans, revealing exactly where she stands on key topics and to whom she is addressing this volume. The Introduction is engaging and lengthy and pretty much summarizes the rest of the book. Along the way Butterfield deals with homosexuality, changing gender, male leadership in the home and in church, the bedrock importance of repentance, progressive sanctification, intersectionality, “gay Christianity” (Side A and Side B), feelings and truth, empathy and sympathy, submission of the wife, feminism, inerrancy, envy and biblical contentment, suffering, modesty and exhibitionism, and even worship. She quotes scripture, sometimes at length, and she gives copious Bible references. She also has footnotes, some of which are as interesting as the text. She names and uses or responds to contemporary authors on the topics at hand. She gives solid directions for those dealing with contemporary issues. She also has suggestions for dealing with family members beset by these matters including a question-and-answer section. Page 301. I recommend this book for all Christian leaders and for believers who want to understand contemporary challenges for the church from our modern culture.

Rosaria is an intelligent human being.
Format: Hardcover
Rosaria writes as such. She walks through lies we are told by our culture here in America and beyond. How to look at sin rightly and touches on her own experiences throughout the book. She is raw and open. However, I do think some of her definitions are not really what we use for some of it. Got me a little confused. I used it to walk my bible study through these lies. There are a lot of questions, but you get out what you put in, so I think it was well worth the time and energy it took to read, reflect and respond to the text. It has biblical backing, and I was thankful for her honesty where she has made public statements before, and has since learned more and no longer thinks that way. It has to be hard, and has been hard. To live her experiences. Such a huge cost to following Jesus. May her ministry and book sales be blessed, as this book should be in church libraries around the world. To know how to gently and lovingly interact with those who are living differently than we.
