The Giga Jul is the most versatile belay device ever, functioning as both a standard and assisted braking tuber in one. Its intelligent mechanism allows the activation or disabling of the assisted braking function, providing enhanced braking force support. Ideal for situation-dependent belaying and abseiling, especially in alpine terrain.

The Giga Jul features a small eyelet, allowing easy release with a carabiner while bringing up your partner. It is suitable for double and twin ropes with diameters ranging from 7.1 to 10.0 mm. The intelligent hybrid design incorporates an ultra-light aluminium body and robust stainless steel in areas prone to abrasion.

With its guide mode, the Giga Jul enables simple and rapid abseiling, bringing up seconds, and comfortable belaying from a belay station when using a doubled rope. The device also offers an assisted braking guide mode, providing a brake boost for catching falls in leader mode. Additionally, the rope can be paid out faster in assisted braking guide mode by holding the device in the 'open' position with the thumb.
