Designed for small businesses, schools, hotels, restaurants, conference centers, and other high-density environments, the Netgear AX1800 Wireless Dual-Band 2.5 Gigabit Insight Managed Access Point offers high versatility to provide fast, reliable Wi-Fi access to employees and clients. This 802.11ax access point features a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for multi-Gig network connections and may be mounted on either a wall or ceiling using the included kit. It can be powered using its included AC adapter or with Power-over-Ethernet when it is connected to a compatible router or network switch. This switch can also be configured alongside compatible mesh Wi-Fi devices to extend wireless coverage and eliminate dead spots. You can configure up to eight SSIDs with individual VLANs, providing administrators, employees, and guests separate access privileges. The wireless signal is secured by enterprise-grade WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 authentication, and the network can be configured, managed, and monitored from almost anywhere using the Netgear Insight app or web-based access portal.

Fast Wi-Fi
This 802.11ax access point connects to network routers and switches to transfer data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies for smooth video streaming, file transfers, and video conferencing. MU-MIMO, OFDMA, and Beamforming technologies allow it to communicate with multiple devices simultaneously with strong wireless connections.

Flexible Mounting
This access point is designed to be easily mounted onto a wall or ceiling using the included kit, where it can be powered using its AC adapter or through PoE when a compatible switch or router is connected to its 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port.

Mesh Compatible
The access point can be configured to wirelessly expand the coverage of a mesh Wi-Fi system when used alongside compatible devices.

Wireless Security
Configure up to eight SSIDs with individual VLANs to provide administrators, employees, and guests separate access privileges. Your network is secured with business-grade WPA3 authentication.

Insight Management
With the Netgear Insight cloud management platform, you can configure and monitor your network from almost anywhere in the world via the mobile app or web-based portal. You can monitor Wi-Fi activity, receive downtime notifications, reboot devices, and upgrade firmware.
