La Rioja Alta Vina AranaVia Arana is composed of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Mozuelo, from two vineyards in Rodenzo, El Palo and Las Monjas, at around 600 metres altitude. They were originally planted in 1973, on loam and limestone soils. La Rioja Alta age the wine for three years in American oak and rack by hand every six months, using the traditional candle light method.
