How to Leave the HouseBy: Nathan Newman A New Yorker Best Book of the Year It may sound peculiar that a story featuring chapter length text message exchanges and a hysterical egg fight during a gender reveal party could contain such potent, moving allusions to philosophy and James Joyce, let alone be filled with richly observed artistic references reminiscent of Ali Smith, but Newman weaves the analytical and the absurd with a raucous grace. . . It's Natwest's last day before he leaves for university, and there's only one thing on his mind: the deeply embarrassing package he ordered to his house—which still hasn't arrived. He won't leave town without it. Any alternative is too distressing to consider. . .
This is the story of twenty-four hours in the life of Natwest, and his small-town odyssey in pursuit of the missing package. And yet it's also the story of a middle-aged dentist who dreams of being a respected artist—but the only thing he can seem to paint is the human mouth. And it's the story of a tortured imam involved in a quasi-romantic entanglement with the local vicar; and an octogenerian mourning the death of her secretive husband; and a troubled teenager whose nudes have leaked on the internet. It's the story of Natwest's obnoxious ex-boyfriend, and his class-traitor mother and her childhood boyfriend, and the life-changing secrets he knows about Natwest's past.
Alternating between Natwest's idiosyncratic inner world and the perspectives of the other characters—and dazzling in its energy, imagination and originality—this is an outrageously funny and tenderly moving story about being connected to everyone and everything at all times; about love, friendship, and the lies we tell ourselves; about unhappy endings, happy endings—and whether anything really is as simple as one or the other.

Loving my Bedsure Blanket
Color: Cream, Size: King (108" X 90")
I love this blanket. It’s for summer use & is the perfect weight. I feel both cozy and cool! Plus color & size are as shown. I washed it immediately and it was easy & came out soft; no shrinkage or shedding in the dryer.

Very soft. Light Blue is more of a sky blue
Color: Light Blue, Size: Throw XL (50" X 70")
Very soft, pretty thin, and a little stretchy. Overall, it looks nice. I would say it's a little thin for the colder weather, but great for the warmer months. I got the light blue, and it is a little more sky blue than true baby blue. I wish it were a true blue, but it's close enough that I'll keep it rather than go through the return process. I washed it, and little fuzzies came free, but nothing too alarming for a first wash. Hopefully, it doesn't do that every time. With how thin it is, there'll be nothing left eventually.

Super soft and strong , really nice blanket
Color: Navy, Size: Queen (90" X 90"), Color: Navy, Size: Queen (90" X 90")
This blanket is so soft. This blanket has stretch to it which is nice for tucking under mattress. Easy to lay out and fits perfectly on a queen bed, perfect amount of hangover. Great quality blanket.
I did wash before I put on the bed and it did great. Shed in dryer but that’s easy clean up in vent.
No shedding on bed after washed. I laid on bed before washed and it only shed a small amount, not much.
I absolutely love this material, strong yet super soft.
Definitely a great blanket to buy! You’ll love it.
