DVL double wall stove pipe can not be cut to length, so the 6" adjustable length provides 2" to 5" of adjustment for you to align the stove pipe run perfectly. For example, if you're installing a wood burning stove and plan to go through the wall with the chimney, you might need an adjustable length on the vertical run

The DuraVent DVL 6" diameter by 6" long adjustable length black pipe section is used to add 2" to 5" of length to the stove pipe run.  DVL double wall stove pipe can not be cut to length, so the 6" adjustable length provides 2" to 5" of adjustment for you to align the stove pipe run perfectly.

For example, if you're installing a wood burning stove and plan to go through the wall with the chimney, you might need an adjustable length on the vertical run to ensure you can line up the height of the 90 degree elbow perfectly with the opening on the wall thimble.  Similarly, you might need a second adjustable length to ensure you can get the proper length from the elbow to the single wall to double wall adapter when making the transition to Class-A chimney pipe.

Similarly, if you're installing a wood burning stove and plan to exit through the ceiling, you will likely need an adjustable length to ensure you can line up with the ceiling support box properly.

DVL has a .016" stainless steel inner wall and .018" galvanized outer wall that is painted black.

We highly recommend that you include at least one adjustable length or a telescoping length with any install of DVL double wall stove pipe.

DuraVent DVL will connect directly to the AllFuel HST Stove Pipe Adapter for a seamless transition to AllFuel HST Class-A chimney pipe and components.

Note: DuraVent DVL double wall black stove pipe is intended for interior use only.  This means that it is meant to connect your appliance to your Class-A chimney system.  It should not be installed through combustible materials like walls or ceilings or be exposed to outside weather conditions.
