The works in this publication built on existing relationships with artists and communities. This publication reveals that traditional Indigenous healing is a current practice informed by the past and an intrinsic part of the life of indigenous people in Australia.
The exhibition Cultural Medicine: The Art of Indigenous Healing is a major exhibition on display at the University’s Medical History Museum at 233 Bouverie St, Carlton from Monday 29 September 2025 to Friday 10 July 2026.
