I just can't imagine me without you... It's the mid-1990s, and fifteen year-old Guernsey schoolgirls, Renée and Flo, are not really meant to be friends. Thoughtful, introspective and studious Flo couldn't be more different to ambitious, extroverted and sexually curious Renée. But Renée and Flo are united by loneliness and their dysfunctional families, and an intense bond is formed. Although there are obstacles to their friendship (namely Flo's jealous ex-best friend and Renée's growing infatuation with Flo's brother), fifteen is an age where anything can happen, where life stretches out before you, and when every betrayal feels like the end of the world. For Renée and Flo it is the time of their lives.
Goose
It's a year and a half on from PAPER AEROPLANES, and Renée is now living idyllically with her Auntie Jo. They even have geese, and Renée likes to sit and watch them, wondering if she'll ever find 'the One' - someone who will love her no matter what, and be there for her no matter how bad things get. She and Flo are in their final year at school, and they've got some tough choices to make - like will they go to university? And if so where - and will they go together? Renée's usual ambivalence on the matter shocks Flo, who had assumed they'd continue as they were, the best and closest of friends, forever.

DAWN O’PORTER lives in Los Angeles with her husband Chris, her two boys Art and Valentine, and her cat Lilu and dog Potato.Dawn started out in TV production but quickly landed in front of the camera, making numerous documentaries that included immersive investigations of Polygamy, Size Zero, Childbirth, Free Love, Breast Cancer and the movie Dirty Dancing. Further TV work included This Old Thing, a prime-time Channel 4 show celebrating the wonders of vintage clothing.Dawn’s journalism has appeared in multiple publications and she was the monthly columnist for Glamour magazine. She is now a full-time writer of six books – although she would probably have written sixteen if it weren’t for her addiction to Instagram Stories.Most recently, Dawn has written the script for Especially for You, a jukebox musical using the infamous Stock Aitken and Waterman back catalogue. The show will open with a national tour in early 2020.

Highly recommend

These are amazing. I have tried a lot of no show socks and either retired, gave away or threw away. These actually stay up. I’ve worn them with flats and sneakers. They are even comfortable wearing around the house without shoes. I highly recommend these. There are small areas they may show, but it’s not enough to bother me.

Works well for sockless look, but annoying branding placement

The Good: works great as true no show socks for loafers. Gives you that sock-less look that many “invisible/no show socks” don’t provide for loafer type shoes. I really like these socks because it works for that purpose and they don’t slip off.
The Bad: I hope Ondo considers my review, because although I love the functionality of the socks and would like to buy more, the only thing that prevents me from buying more is that they put their logo right at the heel of the socks. When I’m driving and look down at my shoes, the ONDO branding is very apparent and it’s quite annoying (I bought the black color socks). I’m not buying more pairs because of this one gripe I have with these socks.
Other than that, these socks work well. Just too bad the branding placement of the socks is annoying. Will keep my current pairs but won’t buy more.
