This beautiful merkaba measures 50 mm in diameter (about 2 inches) and is hand-carved from one solid piece of authentic Karelian black shungite.

It has been polished to a lovely sheen - not shiny but not matt - I would call it a satin finish.

The merkaba comes with a wooden box made just for it! The merkaba has a black felt wrap that protects it inside the box.

Each side of the box exterior is etched. The top has a merkaba emblem; on one side are the words "Merkaba Meditation," and on another side, "Mer-Light, Ka-Spirit, Ba-Body."

★ What is a Merkaba?

A merkaba (sometimes spelled "merkabah") is an eight-pointed three-dimensional star in sacred geometry. The merkaba is said to be the "divine light vehicle" used by ascended masters to connect with the higher realms, something like a chariot. "Mer" means light, "Ka" means spirit, and "Ba" means body. With its intersecting triangles, it represents the connection between the human and the Divine.
