The SpeedFactory Racing Fire Ring / Copper Head Gasket Kits provide the best cylinder sealing solution for max effort turbocharged drag racing engines, proven to the extreme at over 110+psi of boost and 2400+HP in our own engine program!
Our gaskets are compatible with sleeved OEM blocks as well as billet blocks, featuring enlarged head stud holes for compatibility with stock diameter or 1/2” head studs.
The 2 locating dowel holes remain OEM sized and are the only holes that need to be modified if running 1/2" head studs (simply enlarge them with a 19/32” drill bit).
Deck Options:
Wet Deck (OEM Style with coolant passages)
Dry Deck (No coolant passages)
Kit Includes:
• (4) Beryllium-Copper Fire Rings
• Copper Head Gasket, 1.2mm (.047") thick
Features:
• Suits up to 85.50mm (3.366”) cylinder bore
• Sleeved OEM block compatible - fits standard 14mm dowels
INSTALLATION NOTES:
Requires 89.90mm OD fire ring receiver grooves in sleeves - use .039" cutter insert. Groove dimensions are .040” wide x .040" deep (see images for system detail).
For sealing the oiling and cooling passages we've had good success using ThreeBond 1207B silicone.
