They are free-roaming and at no time caged up. The chickens are fed a mixture of vegetarian feed and probiotics, and closely monitored and cared for by animal husbandry and veterinarians. Our chickens are delivered fresh, never frozen!

For you who don’t know how to handle or cut a fresh whole chicken, don’t worry! You may order your GG™ French Poulet 安心鸡™ Whole or Cut into 8/16 Pieces. We clean all chickens + include neck and feet by default, do let us know if you would prefer otherwise!

Cleaning of chicken:
- Nails will be removed
- Excess fats will be removed
- Feathers will be removed

Serving Suggestions: A whole chicken is great for meal prep or big family dinner, whether you’re making classic roasted chicken with rice, homemade nourishing chicken soup, one-pan roast chicken with potatoes, or a variety of other dishes!

Storage Guide:

• Chiller: Up to 5 days as we vacuum pack your chicken, which extends the shelf life conservatively by 50% (usually it’s 3 days for non-vacuumed chickens)
• Freezer: Up to 6 months

Pro Tip for Safe Handling: 

Don’t wash the chicken before cooking; washing may cause dangerous bacteria like Salmonella to splash around your kitchen. If you insist on washing chicken meat, consider doing so in a sink of water rather than under a running tap. However, we recommend cooking the chicken without washing it to minimise any risk of cross-contamination.

• We are only able to remove skin for boneless chicken items
  
  
• As much as we try our best to include similar sized cuts in your package, organically grown chickens do vary in sizes. Please be comfortable when some pieces differ in sizes from each other.

• Colour variations in our organic AnXin Chickens are completely natural and acceptable as they are fed a holistic mixture of corn, soy, vitamins, organic selenium, orgacids, origadia and glucosamine.

~1,400 - 1,500g. Weight indicated is BEFORE cleaning. Cleaning will result in approximately 150g weight loss.
