After two singles for Fast Product, Leeds art-punk collective The Mekons signed with Virgin Records in 1979. The band would have to borrow gear from their mates Gang Of Four to record their major label debut. In classic Mekons style, the album's back cover featured a photo of Gang Of Four instead of themselves.As Simon Reynolds writes, "The Quality Of Mercy Is Not Strnen got a mixed reception at the time. Listening to it now, though, the first LP sounds more of a piece with the band's early punk singles. What's striking is the commonality of sound across the three key Leeds groups of that moment (Gang Of Four, Delta 5 and The Mekons). There are textural affinities in terms of scrawny abrasiveness and a general departure from rock 'n' roll norms of singing and emoting."With boundless energy, The Mekons net a dozen barbed takes on pop culture, art and politics. gloves without a gauntlet

Needed short gloves with no gauntlet - these are great! Not super thick, but I didn't want heavy gloves for walking. Fit just as expected, I used the measurements suggested on the UA website. So far, good quality and holding up well. I plan on getting another pair!

Worked perfectly for a long, cold run!

These worked perfectly! They aren’t the warmest but do the job for long cold runs in Texas. I ran a half marathon in 40 degree weather with these on and they kept me warm. They are a bit smaller in size, similar to what other reviewers have said. But I’m a small woman with small hands so the size medium I ordered were perfect. They were warm enough that I took them off at about mile 6. So overall, I’d definitely recommend for a light coverage, snug fit, glove.

Decent UA gloves pricey for the quality

The thickness isn’t what I thought it would be. They’re ok for warmth as long as it isn’t single digits or in the negatives. They’re durable so far and grip is good. The size and fit are good for smaller to medium sized hands. It is also good for pressing your phone screen.
