Tears for Fears-inspired 'Laid So Low (Tears Roll Down)' Art PrintI had completely forgotten about this song. I looked at the lyrics to see if that would jog my musical memory, and I even remembered some

I looked at the lyrics to see if that would jog my musical memory, and I even remembered some of the lyrics, and how cool they were with the music -- but the music remained opaque. And I don't know why, but this is the one Tears for Fears song that isn't licensed for any streaming services, so you won't find it on Apple Music, or Amazon Music, or Sonos . . . I had to go to YouTube to be instantly reminded of what a great song this is.
And I'm thrilled with this vintage retro pulp paperback cover for it. I love the line 'drew the blade way too slow' and here's a guy with his blade out but clearly drawn too slow to save him. The woman's tears are rolling down, but she's probably responsible. And even the deep black background is the void referenced in the lyrics - the whole thing captures the grief and regret and despair of the song. Congruence at its best.
