Nike Pegasus Premium - Maximum energy return for speed-focused training

The Nike Pegasus Premium takes the legendary Pegasus platform to new performance heights with triple-layer cushioning technology. Combining ZoomX foam, a sculpted Air Zoom unit, and ReactX foam, this is Nike's most responsive Pegasus yet—delivering exceptional energy return paired with an ultralight, breathable upper for fast-paced training and racing.

Revolutionary Triple-Stack Technology

Three powerful cushioning systems work together to create unmatched responsiveness. ZoomX foam in the midsole provides lightweight, high-energy return, whilst ReactX foam in the heel adds durable cushioning and impact protection. A full-length sculpted Air Zoom unit spans heel to toe, allowing you to harness Air cushioning throughout your entire stride cycle—from initial contact through propulsion.

Lightweight, Breathable Construction

The circular knit upper keeps weight minimal whilst maximising airflow, maintaining foot comfort during sustained efforts and warmer conditions. This lighter-than-air construction reduces unnecessary bulk without compromising structure, allowing you to maintain speed without distraction.

Built for Speed and Durability

A modified Waffle outsole features high-abrasion rubber in key wear zones, balancing responsive ground feel with long-lasting durability. Reflective details enhance visibility during early morning or evening training sessions when light conditions are poor.

Key features:

- Triple-stack cushioning (ZoomX, Air Zoom, ReactX)

- Full-length sculpted Air Zoom unit

Is the Pegasus Premium right for you?

Designed for runners seeking maximum responsiveness from their everyday trainer. The Pegasus Premium suits those who want race-day energy return in a shoe durable enough for regular training miles—typically runners logging tempo runs, interval sessions, and faster-paced efforts multiple times weekly. It particularly benefits runners familiar with the standard Pegasus who want elevated performance, or those stepping up from traditional trainers seeking more propulsive cushioning. Whether you're training for competitive races, mixing speed work into your programme, or simply prefer a livelier, more responsive ride on your quality training days, the Pegasus Premium offers the energy return and lightweight performance that faster running demands.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
