The TV Classic captures the vintage twang and growl of a late 1950's, and early 1960's vintage Filter'Tron. The neck pickup is a re-creation of the original Ray Butts/ Gretsch design. The bridge position is compensated with slightly more power, and wider pole-to-pole spacing to match the wider string spacing at the bridge. The TV Classic is TV Jones' most popular pickup. Tone/Characteristic:
Between a Fender (brighter single coil) & Gibson (darker and thicker) Classic growl and grind when you dig in. Clean, compressed treble.
Includes:
Ships with 2 wood screws, compression rubber, 2 humbucker screws with springs and clips. Rings for suspending pickup sold separately.
*Ships with 4 conductor wiring - ready for standard 2 conductor hook-up. Red and green wires are soldered and taped off for standard wiring - send red and green wires to ground for splitting coils. Splitting coils is not recommended for the TV Classic due to lower coil power (but will work). However, it is convenient for custom switching. Example: where coils from other pickups are combined in series, or parallel.

Subpar manufacturing

We bought one of these dog toys in Happy Valley and our dogs LOVED it. I purchased two on Amazon and am disappointed with the shipment. One toy was 1st quality. The second one was in packing that was stapled back together and what we found was the toy was subpar. There were sharp pieces left from the molding process. I’m not sure how this wasn’t caught in the manufacturing process.
