In September 2015 Jon McKiel bought an old Teac A-2340, a reel-toreel tape recorder, tapes included. He exchanged a few emails with the online seller while negotiating a deal, but they never met. The first time Jon tested out the machine at home it disclosed a beautiful dream. A single tape of astounding samples from an unknown source. He nicknamed it the Royal Sampler. They began to jam together. I want to hear you speak. The tape might have been a lost demo for the games of hide and seek that accustom us to evasion. A collaboration constructed in echo. The completed songs seem to start mid-sentence, waiting a little further along the trail. Watch your step the ground gets uncertain by the bend. The maple trees in giggling fits. The shoreline no longer sure. I hear the mourning dove. Bobby Joe Hope was recorded during the summer of 2019 by Jay Crocker (of Constellation Records' JOYFULTALK, who knows a thing or two about composition methodologies involving electronic debris and surprising bric-a-brac). Under the watchful eye of Edward Snowden and a Blue Heeler named Judy, Jay and Jon transferred all the material they could excavate from the Royal Sampler along with the dialogic samples Jon had been making since that fateful September introduction. They combined these two sampled sources with the following design principle: even in the songs organized around a Jon sample, the stranger would be woven in. A shared sonic architecture. Bobby Joe Hope shares a skewed grace and tuneful ease with the work of Chris Cohen, Chad VanGaalen, or Sandro Perri. There's a masterful craft at work, and an attention to the intricate beauty of the smallest details, generous and clear. Tell me what you see. A game of hide and seek. A field wears the fog like an ancient argument. Wayward voices take shape just up ahead. Count down from 10 and be alone again. Abandoned to potential. In the green wide open. Very thin. You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for. I first noticed the softness which was great. The quality is very thin. They are cool which is great. I have not washed them yet. I would suggest washing them on cool and gentle by themselves. And because they are so thin I would fluff dry for an hour if you have that setting. The two things that damages clothes and sheets, etc. are if you have an agitator in your washer, those ruin clothes and the heat you choose for the fabric you’re drying I always wash my clothes on cold. I do not have an agitator anymore and on delicate and thin fabrics, I use fluff dry. It is cool, but it will dry, especially if it is thin and I’ve had to dry my fine delicates a little bit longer on fluff that way they don’t shrink because the shrinking comes in from the heat from the dryer so keep that in mind another good thing to remember if you got white sheets like I did is that when you use your detergent add a little bit of borax or laundry booster and they will help get them clean and sparkly white. I am on the fence about whether I would recommend this or not if you’re tight on money and you take good care of them I would recommend that you get them. I’m a linen freak and I buy mostly expensive sheets and I thought I would try this out so that’s where I’m at.

This bedsheet has been working flawlessly and honestly exceeded my expectations.
The fit is perfect on the mattress—it wraps securely without slipping or coming loose during the night. It stays in place even after movement, which makes a big difference in comfort and convenience.
The fabric feels soft, comfortable, and well-made, giving a clean and fresh look to the bed. It’s also very easy to put on and remove, which makes washing and changing sheets much simpler.
So far, there are absolutely no issues at all. Everything works exactly as it should, and it holds up really well with daily use.
Overall, it’s a simple but high-quality product that does its job perfectly. I would definitely recommend it—10/10.

super comfortable, not waking up as often as before

decided to try these after seeing the tons of good reviews and since they were on sale. also one of my favorite colors in general which is a great neutral shade for bedding, not too bright and not too dull. I ordered a queen thinking my mattress might have been a queen as I previously bought some mainstays walmart sheets. with that brand the fitted sheet in full was way too small. turns out my mattress is in fact a full it is just that mainstays is not good quality or sized right, so this brand the queen is a bit big for my mattress but not too big of a deal. i am not looking for a perfect look, just covering the mattress is the most important.
anyway since getting these sheets in the mail and giving them a run through the wash and dry before putting them on my bed my sleep quality has improved. the sheets are not too hot, are soft and I actually do not wake up as often as before. the sheets are not too thin like other brands and are not thick like flannel either. they are a nice in between. I wonder if they will help keep me cool in the summer, probably since they are actually breathable. I would definitely reccommend giving these sheets a try, worth the money and a good deal on sale. better quality that other store bought sheets.
